Aside from the short handle the rod was a telephone pole; with no spring in the tip section casting accuracy was affected (probably would have adjusted to it if I had to). On the bright side it can handle heavier baits and the foam foregrip, with built in hook holders, is a good idea for keeping your rods from getting beat up.
