VolunteerSwimbaits
Are you referring to resin? If so I would recommend spraying it down with some self etching primer before you do, that will help the paint to stick. Also might want to wash the baits in soap and water to remove any of the oils. surfk9
Thanks Jordan... should I sand all existing paint off prior to etching compound ??? Do u have a brand name for the etching compound??? Thanks for the help Jordan... actually bait I’m contemplating is a toxic bait I assume it’s a resin bait
Rogervang
I would just slightly sand and paint over it. If you want to go ahead and sand off everything, that'll be even better. I want to say Ceaser do have some earlier wood baits, but I'm sure a lot of toxic baits we see now a days are all resin. To the original question. Yes you can do that, acrylic then epoxy.
