Habor freight has a good air brush. For the price, you cant beat it. You can run any air compressor as long as you regulate the psi and get the right adapter for the 1/4 air hose. For paints, you can use any water base paint, just thin certain paint brand to the right consistancy. Createx, wicked, walmart brand, ect as long as they're water base acrylic paint. You may find some paint work well with you and others dont. I personally like wicked and store brand paint just because I can get a large variety of different color option.

YouTube will help a lot, if you go the cheaper route be sure and look up on how to make it a better cheap brush. @Rogervang is right on about paint, paint will need to be thinned! Milk consistently! .5 tip for coverage, .3 for some detail, .2 for real detail. Still learning after years of painting.

Welcome to your new obsession!
