FishNH89
Honestly not a fan at all I’m not sure why but 7 out of 10 casts the lure hooks itself or the line or a fin and swims incorrectly it’s very disappointing my opinion the wake N crank is the best lure toxic makes any options on how to fix this changing hooks etc I would appreciate

I was throwing mine around today for a few hours and didn’t have that problem. I been using 20lb abrazx and a #5 decoy egg snap and it’s got awesome action. You could probably swap the hooks out if you keep having that problem but I wouldn’t discount it yet by any means. Wake n crank is a nice bait too but the whippersnapper and the micro mink definitely higher toxic tier imo. Good luck! I’m curious to see what kind of advice you get on the subject! chefchris
@Ceaser any insight? I dont have the lil chorizo so cant speak to it but i almost always change out my hooks and rings to the mustad triple grips, just a personally preference thing maybe a shorter shank hook would help? or try feathering the line as that bait splashes down, sometime softening the impact helps with hook fouling, could also be the rod, sometimes a extra fast action makes the bait tumble on itself. swimbaitingthe229, El_Weruso, Primus and 1 other
