NavyDoc11
What is the actual sweetspot as far as weight when it comes to these. Will I be able to throw an 8inch hudd and baits around that weight comfortably cause I bought an 806xp and the ratings are a Lil over done IMO. basskickinrednick
807 is the perfect 8" hudd jig hook softbait rod Edited January 10, 2022 by basskickinrednick Jordan B
rwp
All of dobyns swimbait rods are painfully overrated.....by about 1 rod model. The 807 shines at 4-6oz, and it's a fairly fast action. The 806 shines at 2-3oz and is very moderate. Jordan B, bassfiend72 and chevro1et

The 807 is a true fast action swimbait rod, it can launch Hudds to space and smash hooksets like a train. basskickinrednick and Mossypumpkin
