Droof
Ive struggled to get citizen sixes deeper than 12 ish feet. Ive attributed this to the 6/0 beast only coming in 3/8oz. Do you guys ever back down to 12lb or 15lb abrasx and loosen the drag to get them deeper? Also do battle shads get down easier? ricardo

You can wrap lead around the hook shank or put nail weights in different parts of the bait.

Top Ramen
If nail weights don't get it done, peg a tungsten bullet weight to the nose.
BrierBob
I get them pretty deep by casting them off. Don't be like me. Jinxd12, BayAreaAngler, Firebaiter and 3 others 2
David Cindrich
15lb test is plenty for any 6" bait. Yes, flouro will help any bait get deeper, but might not get as deep as you hope. Edited February 7, 2022 by David Cindrich
