Swimbait Underground will be sponsoring the California Swimbait Trail Open hosted by SU member Josh Parris @Bassaholic11.

THE BIG QUESTION

 APPROVED BAITS: Only Swimbaits, soft, hard, jointed, glide baits, top water walking baits or prop and wake style baits 6" or longer will be allowed  Wake Baits must be 6" or longer excluding the tail section(Specifically rat style baits).    Soft swimbaits must be labeled 6" or greater on the original manufacturer packaging.  Baits may be rigged on weedless, swimbait hook with or without an underspin,  unskirted jigheads are permitted for rigging.  

EXCLUDED BAITS, RIGGING, EQUIPEMENT

 No Chatterbaits, Spinnerbaits, Swimjigs, Alabama/Umberella/Multi arm rigs.  No Plastics including worms, senkos, swim senkos, swimming worms or any other bait not specifically labeled as a swimbait will be allowed.  No "live" or "prepared" baits will be permitted during open practice or competition days.  Only ONE (1) casting or spinning rod and reel may be used at one time.  Other rigs as specified above may be boat ready for use: however only one may be used at any given time per competitor.  

LEGAL CATCH AND COMPLIANCE

All Bass must be caught live and in a conventional sporting manner on each day of competition.  If you are unsure of the legality of any baits or rigging methods consult the tournament director before the day of the event.  If any bait/lure used during the competition is deemed not in compliance with the rules you will be disqualified and all fees and or winnings forfeited.
