Lately I've been having a hard time pulling him away from the river smallies though. Its sort of a reverse swimbait bite. We can catch 2 or 3 pounders on swimbaits but the 4s and 5s will only eat really tiny stuff. These pics are from 2 days ago. 5-1 and 5-7 were our biggest and just a blast on 6# test and light rods. The 5-7 is my personal PB Mass smallie but I still have a ways to go to beat Wally's 6-4. Not swimbait fish but still a total blast.
