    The times I throw a treble hook on the bottom, I’ll have 2 of the same bait rigged. One, no bottom hook for running through cover. The 2nd w/ the hook for open water, filling voids between spots. It’s a trick for picking up little fish or days when fish are not super active and are slapping at the bait. @MattGbaz

    Hey all. For whatever reason, 70% of the questions people will msg me about are questions regarding Bluegill swimbaits. For this reason I made a 2. Part video. The link below is my top 5 most proven gill swimbaits. The 2nd part is my 3 favorite times of the year to capitalize on them. It was very difficult to only pick 5. Everyone has their preferences. I hope this helps someone out there.

    So I shut my Dobyns 867 in my truck door the other day lol. I’ll have some baits for sale soon. This is a hiro billrilla tuned to slow sink. Swims great. I did a crappie mid to it. Has fresh 70# hyperwire rings and st-56 hooks. Comes over rock and wood great. Grass, not so much. Both of the biggest fish I caught on it, ate on the fall counting it down around creek channel bends. Swing hard if you get bit on the fall. 65$ Tyd. 70$ if you want the wrap it came with.
