  1. Been having a good season on the normal baits, but want to give something new a shot while I'm on break. Looking for one of these in Butch Brown trout, and not looking to pay an arm and a leg for it. If anybody has an extra they'd let go for sub $200 let me know. Thanks, Marc
  2. Not really... Performance Tackle USED to have extra Nezumma tails, but that was a while ago. If not, ask on the Triple Trout facebook page.
  3. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4467&hilit=PSA Read this post, do what it says, and you'll figure out the answer to your question. Credit to Darth Baiter for the above.
  4. Got'em section and review section should show you what you want to know. Search function works wonders. Several reports showing the success of the FS Bluegill have already been posted, and I'm sure some of the guys that have slayed fish on them, like Marbles, would happily have given you the low down. If you really had been cruising the site for some time, you'd have figured out that people here tend to be very helpful and will GLADLY answer questions if you got about asking them the right way. Also, why would you call out a baitmaker to make you a believer? He doesn't need to ship you the bait only for you to beat it up and then maybe you pay him when he can post it on his website and have it sell instantly without your caveats. Generally telling somebody to put there money where their mouth is works if they have something to prove. Let's just say I don't think Mickey does in this case... Don't go demanding hook ups from other people if you don't have a background that would warrant them. Whether you intended it or not, you came across antagonistically and arrogantly towards quite a few people on this thread. Not the best thing to do when you want a favor. I guess the core of this issue is you believe you deserve preferential treatment to get hooked up with a sold out bait, and pretty much everybody else disagrees. Maybe you should take a bit to think about why that is....
  5. 3:16 makes some really great soft baits that aren't out of stock and get bit really well.
  6. I think the "wacky" part, voids the swimming part Geoff Hey at least he didn't talk about drop shotting it. As for cruisers, what's been said already pretty much covers it. I've had my best luck with a Wake Jr dead sticked on top and then twitched a bit when they come by. I'd rather not target cruisers though since most of the cruising fish I've encountered haven't been into eating.
  7. +4 Thank you veterans and active duty soldiers too!
  8. Me too, oh, the baits, sorry.... I love both. From personal experience, the baits are way less of a hassle to live with than the other kind...
  9. Thanks for clearing up the colors Mickey. I'm down for a Matte Sucka and a Matte Bass then since it's the stock OG Wake colors. 2 very sick baits that'll get bit in every lake.
  10. Baby Wake always gets bit along with the FS Shad. They're baits that I can give to somebody who has never stuck a swimbait fish, and they'll likely get bit when they bust them out. Those are #s baits. Big Rising Sons will kick out less, but nice quality fish along with the 8in FS trout for me.
  11. Matte Sucka and a Matte Bluegill (if that's an option). If Matte Bluegill isn't an option, I'll take a Matte Bass instead. Very sick of you to hook us up with the OG Mickey, thanks!
  12. Lol... I think a lot of people who used the OLD TLD 2spds remember that nickname.
  13. x2 Getting stuck by sculpin after some moron fishing squid strips at the bait deck flips it over the rail and onto your arm sucks on the first day of your 5 day... That said, infections can be really nasty. I had one a few months that had me in bed for 3 weeks and made me drop 25lbs. You're not going to get something like that from bass (probably), but to be safe put some Neosporin on it. If the area around it swells and is hot to the touch, then you may want to go to a clinic to get it checked out.... there are other times to go to a clinic to get checked too, but I don't think you've got to worry about that yet.
  14. I will not make this a habit but I just couldn't let this go without one reply. First, I thought it was classless for Top Ramen to hijack a thread that was meant to help Ben and LDC rods sell his products, in order to get his butt hurt self promoting statement out (JMO). Mickey, I would have defended your baits in the same manner, this situation had absolutely nothing to do with who made them or who sponsors them. As for the last comment he made, I won't lower myself to his level to even respond. SBN SN: basstrack Good luck Ben on your rods, all the pictures I have seen of them they look awesome. Back to your regularly scheduled discussion. Wow, just straight up wow. You can seriously say with a straight face that you'd defend 3:16 baits on the "other" forum even though they get constantly reamed over there? LDCs have been bashed there in the past too, and I don't recall you or any of the other mods stepping in to defend them. Then you have the ego to try to mini-mod this thread by ripping on Top Ramen as well when you're just a member here? Dude, I have no idea what you were trying to accomplish with this, but all it did for me is affirm my decision to support this forum. As for LDCs, I'm meeting with Ben when I'm done with final exams to check out some of the standard issue sticks. I've got a few reels that need homes now.
  15. Generally Japanese patents don't extend to the US, and US patents don't carry over to Japan. Usually Patents are national and not international in protection. Exceptions tend to happen when international companies file the identical patent in multiple countries (and it's accepted by each country).
