    Hey guys, I have a 12 inch X2 Slammer in dark trout pattern thats pretty much brand new but has hook marks from storage. also have a SS mattlures Hardbass dark bass color In good condition.     Well... I have been using braid to throw a lot of baits this past year and like it. If im fishing at night Ill tie a leader for abrasion resistance. I start out with a leader around 10ft and I may retie once in a day. But i have tied the knot i use (Bob sands knot) so many times i can tie it real fast and i have no problems with it.

    thanks for explaining combat. I have a few old beat up baby wakes ill do it. If it doesnt work ill just retire them as theyve seen their fair share of fish! Thanks!

    11.0lbs. 6.5 inch big hammer in pearl. Had to lay her on the ground to get a pic cuz i was fishing solo but saw someone after and had them take a pic. She splashed me when she swam off for payback. haha
