1. What I want to know is did you try to get him unhooked while he was alive, or smack him in the head then unhook him? I bet that was a trip when he surfaced though.
2. Tell you what I will buy the video for sure, and if you take me fishing I will buy the beer. I'm sure everyone is wondering is the video going to be informational, about big bass and their habits, structure, feeding habits, etc.? I know you don't want to spoil the video, but was wondering. Also what about swimbait rigging, and technique in certain situations? I know this is a lot to answer, but was wondering?
3. Congratulatoins Jake on the rod and the fish, Ben's rods are awesome. I've had mine for a year now, and I've used them a pretty good bit, so these rods hold up also.
4. Nice fish man, you are stickin' the heck out of them now, bottom bouncing, topwater, you got it man. Awesome job and post.
5. Can you say BUTCH SLAP!!!!!! all up on'em another nice fish.
6. Man is this SWIMBAITUNDERGROUND, or peoples court. Let's get back to talking fishing and not money. Let the man do what he wants with his baits, and let the person who buys them pay what he wants for it. Let's don't get mad about something we want so bad, and missed out on at a good price and now we have to pay so much for. We all know that is how it is and ain't gonna change so roll with it and let's get back to fishing.
7. Bait is gone or traded for, thanks for all the replies. Sorry if I didn't get back to everyone, first come first serve. Again thanks for the interest.
8. No worries NickNick, good ish coming Any idea on an ETA for this jewel?
9. Would like to trade a black 10" floater freestyle for a 10" trout floater freestyle, or maybe a kokanee. Bait is 10 out of 10 will email pics to serious offers.
10. With the weight that is being thrown up on here, not throwing pics of 2 to 5's up. I would be to ashamed, but also caught 2 on Saturday on the floater 6" trout. I was looking for bigger fish but man I have to admit sometimes it is just fun putting fish in the boat. Tell you what I will head out tomorrow and will take some pics no matter what the size and will get them posted, I caught 2 in about 20 minutes with my 2 year old daughter this afternoon before she was ready to see her Mom. Oh and that is if I produce tomorrow which if I was a betting man I would say yes I don't think this bite is leaving for a while.
11. I posted here a week ago about fishing the rising son top hook over grass, and got a lot of great info, but the one that I have tried and has worked wonderfully was the post from Jonthando23 about the 316 minnow. I had some of these in my tackle room so I pulled them out and put them in my tackle for a trip, first trip super bad conditions and only one good whack, but no connect. Well let me tell you saturday I put 21 fish in the boat, nothing big, not because of the bait, but the lake is full of 2 to 5 pounders. I used 2 colors also the trout and the sissy and it didn't seem to matter they just hit it and I mean hit it hard. The bait worked wonderfully right above the grass, and also right through the trees, never snagged or came back fouled. Wonderful bait and a great producer or at least for me. Thanks for the info Johnthando23, great post and info and really helped me put fish in the boat.
12. Guys I may be wrong and hope not to step on anyone here. What makes a 316 bait so special, THEY FLAT OUT PRODUCE FISH, and there are a couple of reasons for that in my opinion, Mickey knows fish and produces lures that produce fish, they all are tested and tested some more not only to prove they produce fish, but there quality also. Also what happens when everyone and there brother goes to a lake and throws the same lure, same color day in and day out? The fish get seasoned and the bait stops or slows on producing. So I like how there are limited #'s of baits, won't lie sometimes I get aggravated also about not getting what I want or having to pay a crazy amount for it, but it is what it is. So I hope that not everyone that wants a bait gets one, that way the baits aren't overfished before people even master using them. Give the man a break, let him do what he wants with his company, this means making the baits, painting them, numbers of them, and how he sells them. And I can already hear this one coming what about Butch and hudds there are a million hudds and butch still produces fish. Yes Butch does and you have to remember he is a master at this bait, and big fish so not a good argument. Hope this doesn't offend anyone but let Mickey do what he wants, end of discussion.
13. Way to go man, and nice fish, that is one awesome bait, and can promise you that you will stick many more on it. The wake jr is an awesome bait, and again great job.
14. Swimbait only here, haven't fished anything else in a couple of years now, and don't have a problem sticking fish at all. The one thing is I don't force feed a super big bait, if they want a 6" bait I'm throwing it, and sticking'em. Also in my opinion some lakes the # of 8 to let's just say 12 pound plus fish are not as high as other lakes, so if you have a lake that is full of 3 to 5 pounders, then fish for them, not that I don't want to stick a trophy, but I still like to go to the lake and just flat out wear'em out also. A fish is a fish, but won't lie, who doesn't like sticking a monster, i know I do, but personally feel like you need to match the bait with the water you are fishing, depending on what type of fishing you are doing, fishing or trophy hunting.
15. Man this is an easy one for me, or at least for my opinion. I say do what you like and enjoy, if that is throwing big baits only, then I say only throw them. As for the working man tourney, if you really enjoy them, fish them but only throw big baits, you will stick fish and you know you will, so if you enjoy them then go for it. Just figure out what baits are going to work best for you and the situation and type of water that you are in. Good luck JT. Just don't forget fishing is all about the fun and the rush that it gives you.
16. Love the video playa, still laughing, you two crack me up. Glad to see you guys having a little bit of fun, I know you have been working 7/24 to meet our demands. Hope y'all get out more you deserve to have some fun with some of your creations, just as we do.
17. Way to go, those pond bass can be hard to get, so good job, and from the choice of stick used that is no baby, maybe a 12" or what the suspense is killing me, billfold is already cocked and ready my man.
18. Way to go, glad to see you are getting back out there, know it's tough for ya. Keep stickin'em. I hope you continue with progress with your shoulder.

This guy is 1st class in my book, bought a bait from me, and everything was so smooth, even after the sale. Highly recommend doing business with.
20. Oh and this was no favor by getting this bait from the MAN, I payed for it on the black market and got lucky and was the highest bidder, just wanted to clear that up.
21. All I can say is duke it out because I already have one and I'm gonna get two more you can bet on that. This is a floater I have, and all I can say is sweet, I have fished this bait only one week and had the crappiest weather you can think of cold front rain, you name it and the elements were against me and still managed to smoke'em on this bait. Again all I can say is wow, about this bait, I have only fished by myself this week so no pics, but have friends I'm going with this weekend so will rub it in while you guys are waiting on yours. Sorry
22. Wow, time and time again, this man knows big bass better than anyone, and has known it since a young age, from the proof on some other topics. Way to go Butch, another bites the dust. Thanks for posting the video they always get me pumped up and ready to go fishing.
23. Im not from there but have fished the delta a pretty good bit, but no expert, it can be tough to catch fish with weight or at least for me. I like the South mokulomee or however it's spelled. crawfish colored, and fire tiger speed traps, 301 and 297 senkos, white spinnerbait with white blades, white/chartreuse spinnerbait with one white and one chartreuse blade, and always have a lv100 tied on i had good luck with ghost minnow, and of course a frog had pretty good luck with them to. Sure you already have heard this but if not hope it helps and good luck. Oh and yeah owl harbor has been pretty good for me, all the way from the entrance at the river, where it splits go to the left, and all the way back to where it turns and right past the turn, but not far past. Again good luck.
