+1 on the beautiful pattern on that fish, caught my eye instantly.
  2. Ive had luck in this situation thowing a fs bass past the feeders on top , letting it sink for a bit and bringing it through but below the wolfpack. Caught much larger fish this way. Typically youre talking about fish up to 7, much biger than that and they aren't in to schooling as much and rely on ambush points for big meals.
  3. Wow just seeing this, awesome fish and an awesome prize package to match. Congrats bro.
  4. 8" with a profile very similar to the real deal if that helps. I love the wobble on the 3 piece 316s
  5. Nice fish! To the OP, typically with these baits the smaller they get the leas exaggerated the action becomes. I only throw the 250s personally.
  6. For Sale, and throw once a few casts 9.5/10. PM offers.
  7. You know it, let me know man!
  8. hate to, but have to. rubber bands still on it. Male Floater, Yours for the right price. If I don't get the right price I'll hold on to it. Please don't PM me asking how much. Make an offer. Thanks guys!
  9. local kelp mainly. C-bad and a few other areas.
  10. Mike, I use 80lb braid with hard baits in the kelp.
  11. speed nailed it! They just mill around because they don't understand the concept of being in a big lake yet. A bunch are also dazed and confused and meander very slowly around and those get picked off quickly by the cormorants and other predators. Someone once told me that the DFG puts a sedative in the water to keep the fish from freaking out. Sometimes they put too much and those are the magical days when the fishing gets real good because the trout are all loopy and the bass can't help but gorge on them. I've only seen this once but I remember that the cormorants ate so much trout that they couldn't fly away as you came up on them with your boat. -Ali I've heard the same thing about DFG putting a sedative in the tanks to keep the trout calm and less stressed to lower mortality rates. Which would make sense regarding how disoriented they seem when first dumped.
  12. If you focus you can see the whale at the end a couple more from that day
  13. My personal experience with this method has been a bust. It can definitely happen that way but the spot has usually heated up for me a little while after the plant. If not the green ones you may at least find yourself on a fun striper bite. It never hurts to try though.
