High Power Swimbaits

Always a little bit more to the story to give a true perspective. The bait in question was discontinued at the time and was asked about it months after being received. I had no way to make them at the time and hadnt planned on making more. So I suggested selling it for the easier option and was thinking you could make some extra on it from my perspective at the time. If I had been able to make more they still would have yellowed if put in the same conditions as that same bait. It's still the clear mixture I use now. The pink came from the yellow causing the pink pigments to show more behind the yellowed clear coat.

Yes there are but all epoxied and paints aren't equal. All have trade offs. Not BS just facts. One reason I use the clear coat mix I do is hardness. Others use a softer epoxy, auto clearcoat etc. If you will look on the other thread with Brian's photos you see a guy who fishes in sunny Florida with a broad range of my baits over the past several years. He has some yellowing on a couple older ones. But overall if there was a big issue outside of exposure to extreme heat you would see it there or on others baits.

The problem here is trying to compare a bass and giving it traits that people can relate to better or even human traits and make them something they are not. For example fish cant be lazy but can be very energy efficient. Learning isn't like human learning it's more being conditioned to the environment around them. Fish brains are the size of a pea. They aren't intelligent. The eyes of a fish can see details but their brains don't process it like a human brain does or anywhere close to that and reason or "think" about it. It just reacts to them in the way it is conditioned to over time or by genetics that make the fish a fish.

No it goes much deeper than that. I really disturb him. Maybe he had to wait. Want to see some hospital bills or photos from the ICU , emergency room etc. I got plenty. But unfortunately I went through some tough times. See here is an example of how I see the crazy coming. Google is a good tool. It collects info. Know a good social media\ computer person and they can tell you stuff peoole hide about themselves or they think isn't visable. Google tells me that this video is his most connected video to his youtube account but he doesn't comment on it. Must have watched it a few times. You can't see nothing from him there on my account. So what does Google tell us about this person. The video was watched as his number one video connected to his YouTube account. His liked videos are public. He didn't like it and click the old thumbs up. Yep he is the one Thumb down and Google knows that and picks it up although invisable to me on my account or others. Maybe he doesnt like the paint. But it's paint. Lol. Seems a little crazy to me. But when I see that stuff it's like here is another one. I could care less. I dont post videos for likes but it tells me something aout the person. I got more but dont have time.

Seems to bother you a little. Nobody said you had to read it. But you had to react and post. What bothers you so much? One thing for sure. I was right about all of them in time. What can I say? I don't like cheaters, manipulators and conartists. I usually dont back down from them once they get their egos hurt and react. They are all predictable with their fragile egos. Their behaviors point them out. The way they talk to people all nice and humble and polite living a lie and using their fake image and personality to manipulate. And the supporters fall for the same stuff over and over and defend them till the end through all the people who speak out against them. Me I just see them coming now and try to educate others so people can avoid them, aviod suppoting them and see their habits. I pretty much keep to myself in my garage making baits and avoid them all now in my personal life. I have learned enough now that I can to see them coming and confront them and avoid being involved with them for the most part. Then I bring the drama I guess when I have to deal with one like Mike Long. If somebody didnt bring the drama before this Mike Long woukd have never got caught. But just ask yourself. So, what is it that bothers you so much about me. Then look in the mirror and figure it out.

I "parted ways" with a guy once. Sent him a nice email so he maybe would just move on. It's not that simple. They are fragile people with ego issues. Just you parting with them they feel makes them look and feel bad so they go on the attack to get you. To them it's more like a wife that leaves. Can't think about it in rational ways because they are so irrational. I have even got caught up in another guy parting ways with a guy giving him baits for free and the same guy decidied he would buy them from me. The rejection bothered the other guy so bad he threatened my family and a dog I didnt have at the time. I didn't even know who the customer was at the time. I don't know Kerr. Just sayiing he wasn't in a good situation just to walk away from.

From first hand experience. Narcsistic people like Mike Long and a bunch of others that have gained any fame use it to threaten the people they have used directly and indirectly. They retaliate by using their influence over people and media to make you look like the party at fault. They try to make you look like your the crazy one with mental issues that is jealous of their fame and success. Their defenders come one after another to attack thinking they are defending their "buddy". If Kerr would have came out earlier I can guarantee it would have been far worse for him. Mike Long at that time had the world convinced and some really nice freinds and people I know that he was the nicest guy on earth. As a few told me ,"humble and only wanting to help people". As I have warned people here in the past and one of the reasons I don't post much here anymore. This is same of all the people involved in all the fish beefs supporting and defending their hero's and freinds. Plenty more fraudulant people out their pretending to be something that are not. And plenty of people still out there telling us what great people they are. And if somebody tells the truth on their "buddy" or hero they are willing to attack, ridicule, and shame that person to no end although they are just being used same as the accuser.

Nevermind I just talked to who I thought it was. Different person who was involved in another scam deal.

No problem. Just wanted it to be clear since I had guys asking why I was quoting two months wait time on some baits when you just got yours and it was eight months. Just figured out who you were a second ago. Lol.

Didn't wait 8 months. I just had a couple baits I shipped that were ordered in June. Those were the longest waits out of my orders since my wife had to have a surgery etc over the summer and we got behind on those few orders. I just shipped 8 inch August orders with those baits on the same day. Not sure which yours was but wasn't an eight month wait after ordering.

The six inch baits are done with just a few more to ship. I was sending Brian some rings for his baits that were too light and he and a couple others just got the extra six inch baits that were too light. I sent two more to people that had never ordered before. Just happened to be talking to them at the time I had just got back from testing the baits.

I have all the six inch baits finished from last year with the exception of a few that need tuning. I didn't ship the ones I was going to ship last week since a hurricane was on the way. We will start shipping them again tomorrow now that the storm has passed. There are a lot of them to ship and a few I will still have to tune over the weekend but they are all in the process of shipping and will all be shipped by next week. Although we have had some bad circumstances to work through over the past year we have turned things around in the past few weeks by hiring a couple people to help in the shop and around the house here and baits are finally going out fast now and we are producing better baits than we have before. Thanks.

Just to let everyone know still waiting on six inch baits that we will have all of them shipped in one to two weeks. My wife has had more medical issues that are now solved. The problem with the six inch baits mostly has been the precise tuning they have to have and I am currently out of town on a clear lake where I can see to tune them. It couldnt be done efficiently without clear water. My daughter is home for the summer helping me and has decided to stay at home to attend college for another year to help out instead of going away to college to so we will be caught up soon. On the six inch baits we will actually have extra of the shad colors in a couple weeks since we over produced this time to make sure everyone had their baits this time. On the eight inch baits we are months ahead of the six inch. I probably will not be on the Internet for several more days. I just went out to eat and got a signal and messages asking and wanted to let everyone know I am tuning the last ones over the next several days and will start shipping again around the middle of next week. The lists are now gone and we are moving to selling baits that are already made and not trying to keep up with the demand since my wifes health although good now still has some questions. We are just going to make the baits and put them up for sale. Thanks.

That's the thing you have twisted. My wife didn't just have one sickness or one issue. It had grown into multiple things and doctors or we didn't know. There were times when she was in the hospital where we took no orders and I told people what was going on. You are mad because she would be out of the hospital and fine doctors treating one problem and say she will be great and I would tell you I would have your bait soon. It happened with more people than you. I even sent some photos from the hospital at times to people as bait makers buddy's said I was lying about it. But you were one of the few that didn't get it and don't care. Fine move on. Grow up and have a little compassion for others facing a tough time. It's a bait and you are going to trash someone over it everytime it comes up although it was a very serious issue. Shows who you and many others here really are. We have been good for a while and respectful people are getting their baits. Many offered prayers. Some went as far as to send cards, offer help or money. Two very different groups of people. Thankful all the swim bait world isn't full of so much hate.

Truth of the matter is my baits were the first true shad glide baits released with close to a shad shape. Hinkle had his being finished up at the same time. My first baits were 80 dollar baits mainly because they were thin and hard to build and nobody was doing it. They caught fish but we're no where even close to the baits I build now that are 150. There came a point when the newest versions improved and the price shy rocketed to 500 to 600 at times. There were 80 to 100 dollar baits being sold for that amount and people were being ripped off. Not from.me but by flippers and just regular guys who had the 100 dollar baits. Also I have baits I sell as not first quality baits that people have ripped people off on. I still see guys asking for $250 on some six inch baits that were 50 to 80 dollars when I sold them to the original owner. That's why I say if you buy it from me I will back it but on the black market know the person and ask questions about how that bait swims. I had a guy last week who paid $250 for a bait I sold years ago for $100. At least he asked and brought it by and found out after the fact and found out he had been ripped off. The only reason I make videos is so people can see the swim movement of the current version. My current version is different than any glide anybody else is making. It requires a little more skill and knowledge to get it to glide out. A high school fisherman last year said he couldn't work the bait and it was junk. He wanted to straight reel the bait on a slow reel or jerk the bait like a fluke or jerkbait. He met me at a pond for a refund with his dad who was a "tournament fisherman" he couldn't get the bait to glide out either. I took the rod and had the bait gliding out and showed them how and why the bait was made to do what it does and caught a fish on the bait. People often get mad at what they don't understand. They kept the bait but still had to get a feel for the bait and learn a few adjustments. But a lot of people just like them see the bait and turn around and flip it or say it don't work. Then you have guys with the same bait go do incredible things with them. Same bait different people.
