  1. For me I can tell the difference quickly by glancing at the first foot or so above the foregrip, if its silver-Gen 2, if its black-Gen 1.
  2. What? He means that you would do well to follow the advice of Jfish

    Hudd

Awesome dude! I've been trying to get a hudd fish for a while now too, and this really boosts my confidence. Keep at it
  4. Haha very nice Mr. Brown! What bait were you using when you caught that 2 lber and said something about beds? That last bit took me by surprise, but you definitely got back in the boat fast
  5. One last bump wont do any harm
  6. Congrats man! Those are some nice baits you're getting, hope you stick some more pigs on em
  7. Cool idea! Way to adapt to the fish
  8. Thats sick!!! Much respect Mr. Brown
  9. Scratch that, the shad's available now . The hitch color is pretty sick though...
  10. Well I checked it out, looks like they released a few colors, not all of them. I tried to add them to cart and it went through, but I didnt buy any. I kind of like this unannounced way of releasing things. You get to pick and choose what you want if you hit it at the right time.
  11. Oh ok. It's kind of hard for me to imagine a bass on a bed in May, or maybe even June . But it does look like you've got this months tourney locked up. Congrats
  12. Man you're on em good right now, what phase of the spawn are y'all in? I'm guessing late prespawn maybe? Keep it up
  13. Awesome video! Love those topwater baits
  14. I've never heard of or seen that before, thats awesome. I think I undrstand the concept, let me know if I'm right or wrong here. The shads clustered together represent a bigger meal than the one shad by itself, and therefore is more appealing to a big fish? Do any of the shads ever fall off?

    Bass Nightcap

Dang you're killin em right now man. Keep it up
  16. Nice! Looks like an awesome day
  17. Dang that striper ate the HPH . The fish is bigger than the kid
  18. Hate to hijack the post but how does Don rig a 6" Hudd? HAHA! I rig mine (6" and 8" ) just how they come out of the pack. The only thing I do is open the jig hook a little so it's no longer pointing down into the bait. That's it. Any other rig ( head hook) is not used very often. I also fish the bait the same in clear or muddy water I understand keeping the jig hook on the 6" hudd, as its not a very large bait and doesnt provide leverage for the fish to throw the hook. But why keep the jig hook on the 8' hudd? Do you think it makes a difference in the rigging for the 8" or is it an extra precaution with the butch brown/fish chris type rigging? I dont fish the 8" and am just curious.
  19. Got this one today. I know its not big enough, but hey, its the first fish on my freestyle shad.
  20. Nice fish so far guys! Cant wait to get out and fish tomorrow now that I'm on school break. Looks like JT's fish is the one to beat. Its on
  21. Didn't have time to go to Varner. I might have sank the new boat on Varner if I tried with all the wind. Caught it at Allatoona. It wasn't really that big seven to eight pounds as a guess. Allatoona is full of bass with big heads and skinny bodies. Oh ok, I didnt know you fished at Allatoona. Isnt 8 pounds good at Allatoona? I dont fish any of the big lakes in GA much since I dont have a boat.
  22. That fish has gotta be big, look at its head Was that on Varner Randall?
  23. I used to have the 7" model and got rid of it for the exact same reason you stated; it sinks way to fast for me to effectively fish my waters. I didnt catch any fish on it, but when I did use it I mainly burned it around shallow wood in the summertime.
