  1. I apologize if this has already been addressed and I happened to miss it. If you have a problem with a bait, contact the maker or retailer before you post your issue here (or anywhere else for that matter). Treat the makers and retailers as you would want to be treated. The vast majority of them want to make sure you have a good bait and it is only sporting to give them a chance to resolve any problems before airing them out online. Tim
  2. I don't care who has them for sale or for how much. Let's get to the important stuff. Has anyone had a chance to actually fish a Savage Gear Line Thru? How does it swim compared to a Castaic Catch-22 or the older Platinum? I received mine yesterday and I've only had a chance to toss drop mine in the sink and found that my "Floater" is actually a slower-slow sink. I was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience. I'll try to get to a lake this weekend if it isn't another blustery weekend in Seattle. (FYI - I'm chalking the non-floating issue up as an initial production issue and will work it out with the vendor. No harm, no foul). Tim

    Hudd 68

The tracking number notice is sent out when the shipper creates & pays for the shipping label. I don't know how many 68s Ken made for the latest release but it doesn't surprise me that it would take him a few days to complete the shipping process (create shipping label, package & ship) for each order.
  4. Oh snap! How did I miss the response to my original inquiry? I wanted to bring the topic up again to see if anything had changed since Feb.
  5. Mickey - I'm back with the same question. Do you have an idea when the updated Mission Fish will be available? Thanks! Tim
  6. I humbly suggest dusting off the Sex Pistols today and playing "God Save The Queen" loud and proud in honor ( ) of Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee.
  7. I'll take a kokanee. Thank you Mickey! Tim
  8. Sorry for hi-jacking the thread. I want to make sure people with small kids or dogs to be extra careful with rare-earth/neodymium magnets. Due to their small size and strength, if these magnets are ingested there is the danger that they could cause intestinal damage by pinching adjacent sections of the intestines between multiple magnets. This could result in death. The bottom line is to keep them out of reach of the small ones on both two and four legs. Tim
  9. Way to get on the board Travis. I want my Triple Trout back! Don't even tell me that the Mission Fish is the one I sent you. NOTE TO OTHERS - Travis has had both of those baits for less than a week. Pretty sweet. Tim
  10. In my opinion, the post is nothing but pot stirring. My response is BFD as the post offers no insight into bait making or design let alone fishing.
  11. You speculate and then say you hate speculation.
  12. It's deja vu all over again. Thank goodness for that.
  13. Thank you for allowing me to drive up my post count by 1.
  14. Thank you for taking the time to create and post the video.
  15. Mickey - Do you have an estimated release date for the update Mission Fish?
  16. +1 for the idea of going with a top/middle/bottom approach. Even if you had more money to spend, I recommend limiting yourself to three baits to start with. This will allow you to learn as much as possible about fishing each bait in a variety of situations. Tim
  17. Now that is some funny ish! Sounds like the acorn didn't fall far from the tree. Tim
  18. Congrats Randall. What kind of boat were you guys fishing out of and how was it set up?
  19. Another fine chapter to the never ending story. I'm hoping we can just let the baits speak for themselves in the future. Hot damn! 2,000 eyewitness? The story gets better everytime. Crap! Are you saying I was hoodwinked by Mike into buying those Mission Fish because I believed the photos of big bass back in the day? Maybe so. However, Randall is both a fishing guide and a swimbait maker which means he is in competion with Mike on some level. Assuming Randall is only trying to let the truth be known, there is still a potential financial gain for him with this issue. That doesn't mean he is infallible. (Yes Mickey, I had to look that word up.) After all, he thought unkind things about me for a year based on bogus information provided to him by one of his "sources" concerning a cross country bait copying conspiracy. Regarding the two photos, we will have to agree to disagree on that one.
  20. Don - I sent you a PM. Best regards, Tim
  21. According to Butch's April 30, 2011 posting, angler #16 is one of the "Incredibles". [Note to Don - No need to chuck rocks] The list always ruffles somebody's feathers. BFD. Previous lists have included various big bass anglers. 2010 List: http://kramergonefishing.com/2010/11/15 ... 10-top-40/ 2009 List: http://kramergonefishing.com/2009/11/03 ... surprises/ Tim
