  1. Prices lowered to $185 shipped. Let me know in the next day or so if you're interested since I'm looking at other options right now too. Thanks!
  2. Ennie, meenie, minie, mo...catch a tiger by its toe, if he hollers, let em go, ennie, meenie minie... WHOA!! Hookup!! On the BA! Just don't know which one I threw but then again, who cares!
  3. I have a couple of BAs that are the same except one is a slow sink and the other is a heavy floater. In case I get them mixed up, I was just wondering if there is a way to tell which is which besides actually fishing it? Are there any subtleties like how the hudds say what ROF it is on the tail? I guess I could always mark them but I wasn't sure if they are already identified some how. Thanks!
  4. GLoomis 957 has been sold. Still have the 956 and 955 available. Pics upon request. Thanks!
  5. Yeah, sorry for the confusion. $175 each plus shipping. I think someone thought I meant all three for that price since he offered me $200 for all 3!
  6. I've decided to go a different route in my swimbaiting so I have all three of these great rods available for sale. I would prefer to sell them locally here in So Cal but I probably can ship in a pvc tube for $25 as well. All rods are in great shape and are all original condition except for one of the 955s which has a specialty grip on it. Asking $175 plus shipping or best offer. Pm me if you're interested. Thanks!
  7. That's for sure Jo! I bet you've lost count of how many pigs you've stuck since then! And yeah, I already know that Mickey is a great fisherman! I've never fished with him but the pics of him and some of the the fish he's caught are pretty SWEET. Plus, I would have some serious reservations about buying lures from a guy that doesn't know how to fish and couldn't even test his baits!
  8. I think that's funny Jo! With all the unbelievable baits he creates and admiration Mickey has from all of us , you don't hear that being said about Mickey very often! Yeah, I love to fish with Mickey because He's A GOOD NET Man!
  9. Thanks so much for this opportunity Mickey! Now I'm able to get the color and style I really want! A slow sink wake in Kokanee and white for me please!
  10. So the only difference besides the depth each of them runs is that the waking has a more upright lip so it doesn't dive at all?
  11. Can someone explain to me the differences between the floater, heavy floater, waking, and ROF 2 if I'm not correct here? I'm assuming that the floater is just like the original BA that 3:16 has been selling and that the heavy floater submerses a bit more and the ROF 2 sinks at a slow rate but what action does the waking impart that's different? If someone could shed some light on this, it would certainly be helpful for me. Thanks!
  12. I think it's so cool that a guy like Mickey has such a talent to not only make these kinds of beautiful baits but also has the creativity to make something new and exciting time and again. I mean, come on, for the rest of us, it would just be 'match the hatch, then finding the right water column and maybe change up the action'. And plain and simple, it's just not easy to make these kinds of baits with that much detail and artistry. But it's obvious that Mickey's brain finds new and creative ways to come up with better and even more unique baits for fishing. Most companies I think, will release baits that catch fisherman but maybe don't catch fish. To me, it seems like Mickey will not release a bait unless he's confident in how it turned out AND that it catches fish. That's pretty cool I think and it goes to show how much pride he takes in what he does. That being said, where can I get one of those?!!
  13. For me, it's gotta be learning some better techniques, spots and structure on the lake I fish. I've caught some really nice bass but my biggest have NOT been on swimbaits. My largest bass is only around 3 1/2 lbs on a swimbait (WAY smaller than what I've caught on plastics) unless you count the mongo catfish that I caught and that broke the surface after taking my bait! Thought I had the biggest bass of my life until I started to fight it and then I knew it felt more like a cat. The shallows get fished too hard in my lake that I'm going to have to find more offshore structure I believe. Get my swimbait down there at the right place and time and hopefully I'll finally get my first DD on a swimbait. The great thing is that every hit you get on a swimbait feels like a DD for the most part! Did I mention get some of the larger 3:16 baits like a 10" freestyle and maybe an LDC rod to throw the really big stuff?! Heck, if I don't catch a huge bass, it at least feels good to use some really nice gear and baits! Makes fishing more enjoyable, at least for me! Well see what the future holds though for 2011...
  14. Nice fish Combat! What rod are you throwing that 10" freestyle with?
  15. Just curious how people have been doing after the recent sale of these baits especially with the current trout plants going on? I missed out but was curious if anyone has had any recent success?
