    I've built on the 807swb, 808swb, and BB-809, and the BB 809 would be my choice for the 250. That blank has a nice moderate action to it and has good power as well. I've thrown up to 7 ounces on mine, but that 250 is probably the heaviest I like to fish on it.

    We don't have musky here in california, but I have caught bass up to 9lbs on it so far. Definitely has the power to handle baits up to 8oz and to handle any bass I hope to run into. According to the description megabass gave, it was built to handle large game fish like barramundi, arapaima, and nile perch.
