    Does anyone know what size and brand of hooks are on an original pat's perch? I need to replace my hooks and want to go with the exact same ones to be positive it wont impact the action of the bait. the bait i am replacing i am the hooks on is identical to the one the one pictured. Again I am looking for the exact hook size and brand. Thanks in advance.

    Any of the 3:16 freestyles, fished the crap out of them and nothing. Also the glide gill but that one is just because i wont spend $350 on a bait. Love the 3:16 wakes though kill it with them.

    I love my wake Jrs and fish the crap out of them, i doubt i will drop $150 for one though even, there are plenty of good wake baits out there for far less money. He has a business model that works for him, good for him, it is just too bad the baits wont ever be available to everyone. $350 is insane for the gill glide, looks killer but again lots of baits out there that fit into that category. At the end of the day it is 90% knowing where and how to fish each bait and 10% the actual bait. Mikey makes some awesome baits for sure, the prices have gotten out of control though. as long as guys are willing to pay it though the prices won't come down.

    anyone know how many he made? I still can't believe there are that many guys that are willing to spend $350 on a bait. They are great looking baits, but if i bought one it would cost me way more than $350 in alimony.

    yeah no bait is worth that much, the bait doesn't catch the fish as much as the fisherman. Anyone who thinks spending $500 on a bait is going to get them a huge fish needs to learn a lot more about fishing. Mickey makes quality baits that last, I am still fishing a wake Jr. I have had over 10yrs and it is still going strong, that is why I want one of these.

    Man fish the ish out of that thing in New Hampshire that will crush the smallies, wish i had something you would want for it. That thing would kill it here in Western Mass.

    Lots of nice collections. I posted this under a Pat's thread in the black market but really it deserves to be here. This bait is a collectors item that will keep being fished.

    This is the only Pat's that i have, it is the first thing tied on most of the time. I have caught bass, pike, and up to 20lb stripers on it. It is a great numbers bait, haven't caught any huge large mouth on it but have probably caught close to 100 fish on this one bait. Killer bait but I can't get another one. I was dumb and sold my back up a few years back. This particular bait has caught bass in Mass, Vermont, New Hampshire and California. Stripers in Mass and California too. Great bait good luck getting one. I just hope this one next breaks on me. They are not magical baits but sure do get it done at times. It is a great smallie bait too.
