After fishing the bait let bait dry out hit chipped up areas with super glue smear over areas with finger let dry peel off superglue from finger fish repeat this has worked for me A friend of mine fished his first mother hard without any repair and he wished he didn't he is on to his next one because the bait is so beat up and now fishes differently because of water damage Hope this helps also make sure and hit the tail and silencers with extra superglue as well

if your looking for a rod for stricly big baits, i would try a xxh custom vs parabolic before commiting. The custom does everything the parabolic does and more.... i fished both hard and ended up selling the parabolic because im just gonna roll another custom. I fish 5oz wakebaits on the custom up to 13oz baits. I feel like the parabolic is better suited for 4.5-5 to about 9ozs. After that you can really notice the difference between the two on the big big baits, and when you hook up better believe that custom bends welll into the blank. Even the parabolic shuts off a bit early to have a true parabolic action, you just have to hook a fish big enough to show you. Ceasar are you throwing the Deps on you XXH???

I've been thinking about this since i saw the prototype pics....... You are taking one of the most successful big baits of all time and making it PLASTIC???? Kind of sketched out on this one. Do i think it will catch fish YES Will it change the game and have the impact of the original??? Only time will tell but i seriously doubt it.
