With everyone knowing Ben/LDC , my friend and maybe yours, is a part of this site. So when you do things like this does it help Ben=this site? Then what would happen if Phenix started making more $$ and Ben less? Maybe he many fall away from the site? I know the # 1 prize at the end of the year is in fact an LDC Custom rod. Not many willing to kick that. Are they??? Im not sure if Phenix makes anything like the customs if you're comparing them to his Broom stick Production rods (Really? ) So yes, I support a friend that is a swimbaiter , part of this site, who makes a kick ass rod. I mean damn... I have caught a ton on them on his sticks, never one broke EVER!. Hook sets ALWAYS solid, plenty of power to turn and control the fight. What more do you want? Sensitivity? I don't understand that. I feel hits fine. Works for me GREAT! . Bottom line is Ben being a cool dude and friend is a bonus. His rods are 2nd to none to me. I heave my cast pretty good, the H production (broom stick) doesn't cut it for me on casting, the rod loads so much with 8" and bigger it takes away from my cast and now the rod doing its work isn't far enough for me. So therefor the phenix already sounds weak for my taste. I will ride the broom to solid hook sets and holding big bass. We all find what we like in time. We are not all the same. All the things I have used like Okuma, Cardiff and all those I liked, yes. At that time it was all I could afford. I am just now at a place in life to get better or nice things ,Spectrum, So yes I did like those things. Its what worked and I could afford it at the time. Hell I had a cow my 1st 30 dollar bait Anyway, Have fun guys. I am You should all buy what you like but it's still kinda punking Ben in his house , to me. But Im to damn nice.

There is no doubt this man has made a bunch of killer rods for all of us to play. Im a Swimbaiter, I can wait for what I want I have 6 on deck. Is there a better 8' rod?
