As soon as testing is over. This bait worked nicely on the surface with reeling (no rod needed) I could get it to go just sub surface too , pretty cool . I was using a LDC Pro H with it. The flex in the tip worked with the action of the bait. Also lexa 7 to 1 / 30 PF. Matt is still tweaking it so In due time and I need to try other things too. So hang in there.

Take a hudd, 6" even and fish the points in the pits (Dardanelle) worked the end of December (snow on grond) for me.

I do both . I have a SU battle fish on video with music playing (not added) but I like to listen too nature too mostly.

THIS! Everyone has different taste. XH Pro is a great rod for about every need, but feels a little weak for hudds with a jig hook for me. I use it but I make sure I have plenty of set swing when I do to take up the flex. Depends on how much hook setting power and control you want over the fish or if you just want to match the rod to your bait. Everyone is different or we try to be Good luck! I haven't taken much part around here sense the Battle post of being unfair. I got ill twice. I was getting ill the 1st time at the end on the Battle. Then again that led to ER and tests and I have problems "Bilateral Renal Infarction" Clots in both kidneys. So I got a puppy . I was able to spend a good 1st week with her because of my doc appointments. I found her "Baby" dead on the Friday after work before our bassathon trip. I was broken hearted... Friends at bassathon were very much needed that weekend (Thanks Guys/Gals ) I had no idea that a good little pup can get to ones heart in that way. So after a week went by I wanted to try again. So here is Little "Gemma" I have not fished sence my 50th DD. The puppy game/work/doc appointments have been taking up my life. Want to go bad though lol This is keeping me smiling.... And Walleye don't have anything on puppy teeth LOL! And the Docs still don't know whats up with me but isn't she CUTE!!!! Good luck out there! Thank you God. See Ya's!

I have found its better to find out for yourself (open mind) than to think "it won't work" before you you even try. Not everyone catches bigger fish the same. Some will say it doesn't work, I try to see if it does. Most times it will work at some point and when fishing for one bite at times it takes an open mind to score , you guys call it thinking outside the box. (No box)

I started Bass fishing around 1984 when I moved to the Nor-Cal Valley. Been going for bigger bass for 7 years. It's been 9 years from when I started but I dropped it for 2 years and started surfing again. So 7 Total.
