Nice fish dude! Wow! Love that gut on her!

PB and my first swimbait fish. Didnt deserve to catch this fish but I'll take her. She was a spawned out 30" big framed fish. Probably never see another fish with that kinda frame. Would love to see her pre-spawn and full of trout and eggs. Oh yeah, got her on a stocker trout

just new to me,my first wake jr,the baby wake has been putting in work but I feel the jr may get me a few bigger bites. I am one of those people who try not to have to many baits,I feel like less baits allow me to utilize the ones I have better ^^^^^^^^^I love this guy! Nice job

Its the truth what good is a $200 bait if you aint out learning how to fish it during prime time This isnt a 5 cast bait. Its about putting in alot of work but you will be rewarded with bites you wouldnt get on the small stuff.

So let me get this straight, you have the money for a ferrari, but they only have one in red? You want a black one? So instead of waiting for the right one to come along, you buy the ferrari, and send it to earl the pearl wtf? I have yet to see baits with a better finish than what Mick puts on em. Buy the bait and fish the hell out of it. When all the paint is gone, fish will still eat it. I promise you that. Fish dont eat a paint job! Period end of story! They eat profile and action! If you cant get the bait you want....wait for it. Dont go f,in up a great bait by putting some stupid paint job on it. I guarantee you a fish is gonna eat every color mickey makes! Arent we trying to catch big fish here? If the color you find doesnt match what you think the fish are eating, try it any ways. And I dont mean fish it for an hour. I mean go spend a season fishing that bait and I bet you will be surprised with what happens.

I can promise you this.......you will probably lose the biggest fish you ever hook. Seems like it happens to everyone, we all have the story of the one that got away. I have lost a couple heart breaking fish at the boat, my best friend when he got his PB had one that dwarfed his 15.5 with it trying to rip the bait out of its mouth. Dan kadota on the upper lake lost a friggen 20+ and crupi went to that spot a couple days later and caught his 22.1. Tell me that wouldnt hurt You learn through these experiences. Its just alot more painful because at times the bites can so few and far between, but I can say this, You are gonna lose big fish, Thats just the way it goes. Maybe some of the other guys can chime in about the ones that got away. Buy the best possible gear, use owner hooks, and re-tie often. Learn to laugh it off when you farm them

I hear this on the regular, even by locals. It just goes in one ear and out the other. I'm super frustrated at this point- having yet to catch anything and close to giving up. But I will do like everyone here suggests- Keep truckin' Can't wait for that first swimbait fish. At least Mickey makes lures nice enough to just stare at if they haven't been bit yet.
