  6. Do u have a pic of the bait together? I have a natural trout..
  7. 6 or 8" hudds? I have both. 8" are rof 12 and have some 6" in rof 5. 8" in trout/shasta colors 6" mostly perch
  8. 6-7 possibly. Looks like it'sover 20" tough to tell by a picture. Nice fish None-the-less. Also check your scale with a 5 lb dumb weight either dumb bell or plate. Easiest way to check it.
  9. Just curious as to why the two mags look different?
  10. If these things actually get released this year i bet next year at this time or maybe the following year they will be just like the 316 baits are now.... not saying either one is a bad bait. I love fishing both brands. I know one thing though. I will be picking up as many as i can while i can because Iit could be like 316 and never see another one again.... really hoping to get my hands on one of those bass too when the drop (if they drop)
  11. That is a very broad question. Best for what situtation???? Swimbaits are tools and like any tool it usually has a specific job that it's best at. You can't really give an answer to that question. That's like asking which day of the week is best to go fishing on. It all depends on a ton of different variables. You would use a deep diving crankbait in 2 feet of water in the weeds.
  12. I know if you go west to the next state over the lakes are loader with little perch. I'm sure they have a ton in the lakes u will be fishing. Just the nature of the lakes up here. Per ch and bluegills have to make up more than 75% of a bass' diet up here. Just make sure u bring some mmend.it with because the pike and muskies also love perch baits
  13. I put the plastic boxes in the other way so the soft baits don't get bent. I think you can fit like 40 hard baits in it and how ever many soft baits you can fit in 4 of those boxes. Lakewood makes it. Very durable. I use it as my deck extension in my boat.
  14. If you don't mind doing a little work. Buy some lexan a d make your own. Really easy
  15. If you can get an ldc for 185 and can swing it I would personally get that, but if not then okuma guide select
  16. Don't fix something that isn't broke.... If it still swims good don't chance it, but if it's not quite right then bend it back. I wouldn't think it would break
  17. All I know is they both make good muskie baits and you don't have to twitch them constantly like the traditional muskie gliders. Makes for an easy day on the water..... oh wait you still have to he able to throw it all day. I have both and both will work at any time of the year. Mama maybe a little more of a cold water bait or high pressure, hinkle has a nice snap to it when it comes back to center. The glides are both wide and like Travis ' s illustrations showed the hinkle has a a much tighter glide. The mother is.OOh in like the negotiator in my opinion except in maybe it's appearance.
  18. Not sure if it has to be a new pic or a bass but here goes nothin. Pike from last year. Surprisingly it didn'tdo too much damage to it. I think it was too far down her throat.... 8" weedless hudd
  19. Think of how many little fish are caught on a Deps 250. Same size as a 10" hudd. Different swim obviously but same size. I have caught a ton of 2-3 lbers on the 250. Your odds are just as good on the 10" as an 8". Just gotta put the bait 8 front of a hungry fish. I love to hate throwing hudds here.... to many toothy critters like them, and seem to never miss it. Kind of annoying. One day last year I went through 6 8" weedless hudds because of pike..... save 5 of them with glue but one lost his a$$ to a 36"er. I will pick some up if he comes out with them but be a cringe a little everytime it gets smoked hoping that it's not a pike or muskie
  20. Agree totally with the above. U can blame the government for that one.... Also I think I heard somewhere that Ken doesn't make the 8" cuz it messes with the feel of a bait or something along those lines. He is a brilliant bait maker but he is a little out there haha. Just to clear things up I AM NOT BASHING HIM.... so don't even start.
  21. Gone ! Bowmount 360 image here I come! !!!
