Arent the 0's primarily for deadsticking on the surface? The oversized sized tail would seem pointless to me as a non swimming bait. Or is my logic off? Just curious.... Steve Kennedy weighed 100+ pounds out of Clear Lake a few years back on a ROF 0 during the day.

Dip your tails 3-4 times in clear plastic [or any color you desire] and you have an instant 68. It works pretty good.

I have a couple of his baits. I havent owned them long enough to say if they work. I know they swim pretty good. I like unusual baits and these look different in every way. As far as the custom price tag; look at some of the other popular custom swimbaits. I wont name them specifically but it really bugs me when a $60-$70 bait looks like a 5 year old painted them.

Has anyone tried to plastic dip the tails on a 6" to get the same result as a 68?

I don't think its cool to make fun of Mike but you will learn the G2 is a knock off. And FYI I don't own any 3:16 baits so the point you made is void to me. I'm glad you caught a personal best that's great but you bought a bait from a lier and a cheat that hangs baits from the mouths of fish that are shocked up. The joke is on you buddy. And your statment of HASN'T BROKE YET is priceless. Hanging a bait from the mouth and/or re-hooking a fish and reeling it in on film has been around as long as the video camera. Very big and reputable companies do this all the time.
