The above post is absolutely correct, What he doesn't say is he is balancing his 3 daughters time and trying to get work done at the same time. Oh and did I mention he had a job also. The guy is trying to do the best he can to get the newest run of baits out. The factory that he was using sent him a batch of bad ones that he he had to go through one by one to get right. Were they perfect? maybe some better than others but you can bet the new ones will be back to the norm. Are they more expensive? Yes, all baits are going up just like everything else. Face it, this is a bait that will work forever as long as there is a predator out there in the water to eat it it will get bit. The fish have told us that.

Throw that bait back in your box and use the regular 68 with the trap hook. We knew this would be a problem thats why I dont use weedless at all. You dont get enough bites on a swimbait to take that chance that the weedless hook will come out and do its job. Its obvious for you right? Get it done with the regular one and throw it like it was the weedless with no fear. You might loose a bait or two but we all do that fishe them correctly. My 2 cents

Me personally would have to decide more on the cost and availability of replacement if it gets damaged. That is one of the problems with buying baits made overseas. I stand by the USA made baits just to keep them in business. My .02

This is exactly why I dont post very often on this site or any other one. Too many critics and wan a bees, not you Don I know you can get them but down inside you all know what i meen about all the animosity over a fake fish or one that are caught. As I stated my oppinion its like opening the door to the critics and so called experts who have caught a couple good fish. Dont turn this site into seventeenation

I want to be a swimbait guy. If I post a hundred times I could pose as one like some of these other guys do on these other sites. I find this funny but I believe it. Bigger baits are better at catching a glimpse of a giant and better yet at catching one every say 25 trips. Its guys that, who dont post alot or show off their 8 pounder and call them selves a swimbaiter. A true trophy hunter does not post much or show off his catch. This is my personal oppinion and not subject to any hater, poser, or bashers out there. Shut up and fish
