  1. What's your lineup right now? If there's not a H in there it's not complete .
  2. I have more experience with my production H than I do with the custom H. I have only fished with the custom a few trips and I love it so far, I definitely favor it over the production. I like the faster tip because I prefer a stiffer rod, and the H is so versatile that it can throw the smaller baits as well as the larger baits. Smallest I've put on the custom H so far was about 2 oz, biggest was around 6.5, it feels like 6.5 is about the largest I could throw and still be comfortable with it, but I'm sure it could handle a bit more than that. Haven't fought any fish on it yet, but it casts well with everything I have fished on it so far. I would say the sweet spot is around 4-4.5 oz. The FS bass fits right into that range and is smooth sailing on that rod, the two just feel like they go together. I have it paired with a lexa 300 and 20 lb big game. The lexa was tuned which plays into the ease of casting, but not too much, it's mainly the rod. You'll love it, and I can guarantee you, you will want another. ***Forgot to add, this is the rod I won in the battle. Ben hooked it up with an old custom H blank that he no longer sells, it was never publicly available and the entire blank is flat black, this in an 8' ***
  3. I'm in granted I have a car by then.
  4. I'll get right on it Don . You interested in a sissy HPH? Hit me up maybe we can work a trade out.
  5. His price includes shipping and is already lower than the price you posted about on ebay. So what exactly was the point of telling him how much the reel on ebay was?
  6. What's it rated to and what's the size when it's fully collapsed?
  7. [/img] 13 ftr. The best thing about this boat is rolling up to someone in a $60,000 boat and asking if they can take a picture then pulling a toad outta the livewell. And when you hook a fish the boat turns:-))) Its all electric for fishing the lagoon. Just got a Champion though. It was a little sketchy fishing deep off shore structure or main lake points on the weekends. I put a 10 hp on it and it hauled ass. I hate to see it sit outside so if anyone in socal is looking, its a sweet little rig. Love it Bryan... that thing would be so friggen perfect for Westlake it's almost funny. Too bad I don't have the cash for the boat or slip fees... We gotta get out and fish again soon brother!
  8. If you're going with a TT go as big as you can, the bigger ones just overall get bit better, by all sizes of fish. Considering you want to keep it under 7", go with the 7" TT. I've also got to agree with Bronze... the high power herring definitely is a fish producer, I don't fish mine as much as I should.
  9. Sold a bait to Brandon, great communication and quick on PayPal. Thanks again!
  10. Bump. $185 shipped and insured USPS priority with tracking. Might be open to trades for a BAA. Don't need a regular floater, or anything in black. Or other trades??? PM offers.
  11. what area of cali of are you? just wondering so i could show ya the ropes Do you really think you're in a position to show somebody "the ropes" of swimbait fishing?
  12. I have a brand new fs bass in bass pattern. It's a floater. 9.99/10 because of one tiny little mark above the right eye, I received the bait like this from 3:16. It doesn't have the rubber bands on it, but It is still in the box, never fished. I can send pics of the eye on request. Looking to sell for $190 shipped and insured USPS priority. PP gift, or you pay fees. Or I'll trade strait across for a slow sink fs trout 8" in any trout pattern. In 8/10+ condition. Thanks for looking. Luke.
  13. You're way late homie! Nice pig Sean! That's one chunky fish. I had a good time fishing with ya Matt!
  14. It's definitely not the line, unless it was really old. Or frayed or nicked. I fish the armageddon on 20. And I cast as hard as I can, no problems. I have fished the weedless and reg 8" on 20 countless times, never a problem. Hell, I even catch fish with it sometimes too
  15. Is this the original, a 2, or a 3?
  16. I'm with the Kings fans... Luckily my mom is a die hard fan too, she got us tickets for Sat .
  17. I know nothing about go pros. Can you explain what is in this lot?
  18. Depends when I'm fishing. But, overall I'll take the HF. I get bit really well on a slow roll where the hf will be down at 2-3 feet, and occasional pauses letting the bait slowly rise, then a rip, or continuing the slow roll. Usually gets bit right after the pause. Why pick though? I usually just keep both with me .
  19. Congrats Colby! What was the prize?
