  2. Oh yeah, I was Watching this one a few days ago. But that's on the older citica ( I have the E series, that one I believe is the D series) there is a reel service guy that stops buy one of my local tackle shops.
  3. Thanks Geoff for the suggestions, I will also look at that vid.
  4. @jonj what's the Name of that video that ur talking about? You tube is working for me.@urbanhick I did check to see if there was any line wrapped around the rod, and there wasn't. Does anybody have any suggestions on people/places that service reels? Preferably local ( I live in San Jose)
  5. @flyfisher21, I don't service my reels, I try to clean them myself, but I don't really get in depth with the whole reel. @flaswimbaiter never used the reel in salt water
  6. Did a little cleaning on the reel yestertday.cleaned out the pinion gear with a q tip. Got alot of crud out of it. Wiped down the shaft a little.
  7. Hey guys, so I was fishing with my citica a couple of days ago. And I was using a 1/2 oz bait, and it wouldn't cast far ( I had the spool knob really loose, and I only had 2 brakes on) also, when I was casting, it felt like there was no lure on the end of the line....weird. And I heard the gears slipping when I was casting. So now I'm thinking, that it needs to be serviced or looked at. What do u guys think I should do, or where to go? Thanks TVD
  8. Nice fish! That's a pig!
