Well, I might as well give it a shot. Choose me. Because I have never fished a rat bait before, but i know ecxactly how I would fish it. Rats live in some nasty sh!t. So I will be throwing this thing in the hard stuff, rock walls, stick ups, weeds, tullies, ect. Will I fish the bait? Yes. Will I catch fish on it? Hopefully. Will I be honest and give an unbias review? Yeah, for I have not owned a rat bait before. So my fellow SU compadres, if you want a guy to throw this thing in some crazy stuff. Look no further.

The actual weight DFW throws around is so small in CA's government.... The department is tiny, so it doesn't shock me that nothing is being done, but we are getting into the politics of this now. Lets just vent, I agree that this whole situation is a load of SH!T!!!!

There is no effort to save fish. There is actually no effort to manage bass fisheries in California at all. Fish and game is a big joke, all they have done for the last 30 years is stock trout and call it fisheries management. It's called government. Seriously, with all the bull going on with our government, you think they are going to care about a bunch of recreational bodies of water? Probably not on the top of they're priorities.

Yeah I got the baits. Just received them about a 5 days ago. I will try and get out and put some time into them next week. But hopefully some fish will show some interest.

Since you are fishing under special circumstances, I am sure they would have no problem tayloring your rod's butt length to make it effective from a float tube.
