Thanks for the input. I'm gonna give the jig hooks a go this winter and see how they perform.
Just hoping I don't lose a giant in doing so lol

I only use the jig hook.
Especially now that Huddleston has the top hook ROF 5 modle.
The baits (too me) move through the rocks better and give more solid hook ups. Only when the hooks is ground down to uselessness, do I cut it off and BB rig it.

I also have a Heavy Baitsmith Magnum which has been used one trip and has a little teeth mark rash on the tail section. $80 TYD.

First fish on the 250. Was getting follow after follow and decided to slow down and fish the Same area for about 20 min. Seen 4 or 5 follow it in gave the 250 a hard twitch and watched it slam the 250 next to shore. Took a couple handle cranks and flipped it on shore before I knew what happened. Stoked to say the least.
