I grabbed a PA 14 this spring and I'm also very impressed. Super stable. I'm 6'4" and 255 lbs and have zero problems standing and moving around. It has everything I need.

Got a chuckle from these! I'm a republican because of my beliefs, but honestly this is a ish show. Trump is a mess and Hillary is a lying sack of ish. This is the best country in the world but man it is unbelievable how unappreciated it is. I blame it all on the BS propaganda that the media is constantly shoving down our throats. Crazy how they have widened the racial divide the way it has been done over the last few years. It's a shame what is being done to the police. I have an idea. If you don't want to get shot, regardless of the color of your skin, listen to what the police say. I have yet to see any cooperative, polite, person get shot. Blows my mind! I can continue on and on.......Sorry for the rant.

Im pretty sure you can purchase farm raised largemouth fingerlings. Although it's not immediate, and it cost a couple bucks, its a good way to introduce good genetics with little chance of disrupting the current balance.

FYI, if the lake could support a giant, chances are, they are there. Wanna make it better? Caul the other predators, and support the baitfish. Think plants.

Don't think anyone mentioned this, but what about disease. One of my favorite fisheries was infected with largemouth bass disease when someone thought it would be a good idea to transplant smallmouth bass from another lake. The biologist told me smallmouth can carry the disease but are not infected by it. I went out one Sunday, and the entire lake smelled like death. I proceeded to find countless dead and dying big largemouth floating on the surface, as LBV affects the larger fish first. With it being Sunday, I emailed NJ Fish & Game, and within 15 minutes got a follow up phone call with a fisheries biologist on site that night. They confirmed LBV, and that was 8 or so years ago. Lake still is nowhere near what it was. After the disease cleared years later. The population of predators is and has been way out of balance with the absence of the largemouth. The population of pickerel and perch exploded and the few largies that were left had a hard time re-populating because of all the other predators. It was a damn shame. I could go out a catch a 5+ just about every outing in a NJ lake, which is unheard of here, and with one stupid move, has been ruined for almost a decade and counting. For the record, the transplanted smallmouth did not survive.

One is a floating bait and the other is a diving bait. Even diving slammers will only get down a couple feet. Two completely different baits and actions.

All cool baits listed but if you want something sick, grab an imakatsu Berlinetta crawler. Very cool bait!

Mail him a bag of ish. Preferably after a sloppy Mexican grub session. Better yet, we all mail him a bag of ish. Imagine that mail day!
