I’ve boiled a bunch of baits and it works for both straightening and more kick in my opinion. The more kick thing happens because I would stretch the bait after boiling. Osprey’s, Rising Son’s and baits like that would be 1/2”+ longer afterwards. Does it make a difference? Solid maybe sometimes.

If I remember correctly, I paid $375 for it, and the specs are 4-8 oz. Biggest bait I fish is a SS250 and it handles it no problem.

What’s up all. Up for grabs is a clean Daiwa Z2020 SH. Only scratch can be seen on the side under the Daiwa logo. Reel works flawlessly and is a beast. Old tourney partner just bought his first SB rod and needs a reel. He’s not looking to spend a mint and won’t be chucking anything too big. Anyone have a 300 size revo, Lexa, or curado laying around. Can be beat up but must be functional. Please nothing broken or with issues. Let me know guys. Trying to help the guy out. Thanks.
