I use power pro and 832 for most of my swimbaits. I do have a leader attacked to all my swimbaits. Lost one of mine 3:16 swimbaits and I am not one to risk it again. I really don't have preference for either the power pro or the 832. Whichever is closest to me at the time will get use. I agree with one poster above the 832 will be slightly noisier on the guides.

I currently throw all my S/B on a 400TE. However, I've been thinking of trying out the Toro Winch 50.

That's when you are fishing and take a pp at the same time. On tough days this almost always works for getting a hit Sorry, had to do it Have fun ppfishing! I use a gatorade bottle for that lol But, having your buddy take a dookie over the edge and wiping with the 2"x3" lake permit still stumps me We use a milk jug. With all the beer gatorate just ain't gonna cut it.

New member just want to hello. I've been fishing swimbaits for a while and found this site a while back and now finally join. Currently using the same muskie setup for fishing swimbait. St Croix Rod w/ Calcutta 400 TE.
