  1. Havent posted in a long time, wondering how some of yall take soft swimbaits and modify them to be line thrus. thanks for any help
  2. 8.75 very cool of you to be doing this
  3. Nice fish man. If we keep getting more folks on here from around this area we will have to do like a mid tn get together(we could anyways)
  4. Thanks man it looks like its going to be my next real purchase
  5. I figure if youre using these on sturgeon as well then they should hold up to striper and musky right? Looking to get an inexpensive reel and these are really appealing to me . Thanks again for the awesome review
  6. My opinion is without first hand knowledge so take it for its worth (not much) I would throw a bass pattern even if they are stocking trout. I think theyre territorial and will hit or eat each other to get to the trout first. Also it seems like everyone throws trout patterns when they are being stocked so show them something they arent used to seeing at that particular time of year
  7. Gonna hopefully be dropping something big here in a couple months so keep your ears open
  8. Had an interesting year, started in fl caught pb and a good amount of swimbait fish. Moved back to tn started making baits for myself and actually catching fish with them. Then got burnt out on the drama and bs so I started fly fishing and that got me having fun again. My goals this year are to catch a lm, small mouth, spot, musky, striper, brown and Rainbow trout all on home made baits. I hope to bring a little soul to thereports.
  9. Caesar do you know who used to make them before? It was a really good idea.
  10. I just went to the website and theyre listed at 16.99 which is reasonable to me they have caught me a good number of fish. I also had the little ones and fished it with a spinning rod. If you buy the little one take the back hook off. here is a fish on the little one. I think it would be better money spent to get a higher quality bait but if funds atight or you ar enew and dont want to drop alot of cash right away these lil baits are an awesome bang for the buck
  11. Bass is probablly my favorite pattern! Like others said it works anywhere, when I was living in FL the bigger bass were schooling smaller minnows up against the shore and would bum rush them and get a whole mouthful. I would throw my bait parallel to the shore and the bigger girls would come up and crush it. Probablly cuz of an easy meal but i think it was more a territorial thing than anything. And the baits I was using were the cheap z9 7" swimbaits from bass pro, like $10. And since it doesnt happen with out proof.
  12. Nice guys! I cant wait to get a house and build a shop behind it where I can work on stuff as well as store my equipment
  13. When would you choose a 300 over a 400?
