    I hate my 867.........bought it to throw big baits because it was rated to 16 oz baits but it couldn't handle a 250 slide swimmer at 7 oz. It just sits in my rod rack. I don't have any LDC's but I hear they are great, I use Loomis swimbait rods.

    If he's around he should pull his website, I'm sure there's people still ordering baits from him not knowing they aren't getting anything!

    Not only do I lose 50+ bucks but I'm reluctant to order any baits from custom builders anymore.

    Owner ST 36 and Hyper wire split rings. I fish Muskies a lot and they hold up with them no problem.

    Got my 2 Rainbow Trout wakes yesterday. Unfortunately the wife signed for them after signing for a Deps from japan a few days ago. I'm in the dog house now!

    Same here.........ordered 2 trout colored and haven't heard anything.

    Had a good Largemouth year, nothing huge but lots of quality fish. Won 5 Musky tournaments and one 3rd place out of 7 tournaments fished. Got my 8th AOY musky fishing, thanks to swimbaits.

    Does the boiling affect the paint on the Hudds? I have sone Basstrix with bent tails I'll have to try it on.

    Love my Loomis swimbait rods! The 956 is sweet for a lot of the bigger baits, threw the Deps slide swimmer on it today. Thought i might have to go with the 957 but the 956 threw it fine.

    I also changed to Owner ST 36's, but went with a 3/0 for the belly hook and 2/0 down by the tail. I also powder coated mine white less the tip of the hook to the tip of the barb, to match the belly color of the bait.

    The one I picked up is a SS. I don't believe there's a lot of difference between it and the BB. The BB has different hooks and more pronounced spots.
