  1. I like the savage gear Glide swimmer, it's been a killer bait for me.
  2. Nice! I've got a little 9.4 Basstender that I love, though it looks like my son is gonna swipe it from me!
  3. You guys use any adhesive under the x flock?
  4. I have a 2000 Skeeter SX17 Aluminum that cracked at the welds where the sides meet the bottom from the beating it takes in rough water. I thought I could take it in for a quick weld job and it would be alright. The guy that welded it managed to catch the boat on fire! What was suppose to be a one day job turned into 6 weeks before I got the boat back after their insurance replaced everything. 2 weeks later the weld cracked again. Still looking for someone to add braces to it and reweld it, in the mean time it's patched up where I can fish.
  5. Sweet little boats, I have a 9.4 Bass Tender thats fun to fish out of. i need to find a trailer for it though, getting too beat up to put it in the back of the truck anymore!
  6. I don't know what the best line is, though I use Maxima UG on my rods. I do know a line I would never use again......P Line Flour. I had it break twice on me on hook sets (20 lbs test) on nice fish. Both times it broke near the rod tip.
  7. Ichiban tackle........Japan.
  8. I find mine sits in the rod rack more than in the boat...I prefer my Loomis 957 for throwing the 250 Deps.
  9. Cool video....thanks! I just picked up a nude black in the newer baits but I haven't swam it yet.
  10. $115 + shipping at Ichiban tackle, just ordered a Nude black.
  11. I've been using Loomis IMX rods for years for Steelhead fishing for years and they are super sensitive. So if you want a sensitive rod they will be sensitive.
  12. Got my northern gill today also.
  13. Try the new savage gear glide, I like it better than the s waver.
  14. I run Owner ST36, 3/0 for the belly hook and 2/0 near the tail.
  15. I ordered 2 tees and it took nearly 8 weeks to get them. Soured me on ordering from the site.
  16. I know where I'll be selling my swimbaits when I quit! LOL
  17. I've found them for $64 on a Japanese site.
  18. i would consider $119 over priced for what you can find them for.
  19. I don't care for the spiraled guides either. They are great on a noodle rod where the line will hit the blank because of the deep bend, but on heavy rods I don't see the need.
  20. I've got a mother but I don't think she'd take kindly to me trading her for a swimbait!
  21. I did the mod today on the one I have that doesn't have much glide, I'm gonna go throw it tomorrow and see how it swims. It looks like it should be much better.
