ABT Lure Company's Dirty Donkey 6.5" topwater bait
RangerZ520 replied to RangerZ520's topic in The Underground
Hey swimbaiters, just talked to Allan at ABT and the Donkey is getting amazing feedback from users, he has also taken to heart the criticism on the price of the bait, so he has lowered it $59.99 on TW, I think what people need to to take into consideration is that this a true custom bait with 'each' bait being tank tested before paint and after to ensure consistent quality control, these baits don't come from China and the mark up isn't what you would think. Before you start comparing it to a Punker, you need to fish it, I have nothing bad to say about the Punker it is a tried and true bait, and use them myself but when you fish a 'Donkey' you'll see they couldn't be more different and what you've been missing, don't let the profile fool you, cause profiln is wrong as Ron White would say. All I'm saying is use it or talk to someone who has one, thanks guys and keep ckuckn..... -

Hey fellow swimbaiters, I just got my hands on ABT's new topwater walking bait, the Dirty Donkey, let me tell first hand, it's AWESOME.... this bait was designed to have a tighter true 90 degree walking capability keeping it active in a smaller strike longer. This bait also has a cup under the chin, that when worked more aggressively gives it a unique 'BLURP'ing sound. The detail that has been put into this bait is also very impressive, along with the hardware, all the split rings and hooks are Owner, no corners were cut producing this bait. I have a attached a video of my very first cast with this bait, I was so excited following my fish catch, like an idiot I yelled 'Dirty Dog' instead of 'Donkey' at some guys at the ramp I had just shown the bait to, getting bit on big baits makes your mind go alittle 'COO-COO', I'm sure most of you know what I'm talking about. My team partner also did a post on westernbass.com about the Dirty Donkey with all the available colors, he got his before me, I will try to post more footage and action of this bait, it is a must have . Enjoy and keep chuckn.
