good to see some people talking about local waters. I have hit the CT River a few times in the last month. Pike and smallies are on the prowl and we got some schoolies. I hope all the rain opens everything up for us soon. Although, we did get about 2" of snow this morning in the Hartford CT area.

I ride ocassionally, we have a track in our town. I am 38 so I don't go big but not afraid to hit some doubles. I ride a 2004 KTM 250SX.

I am interested in upgrading my trolling motor and was considering Minn Kota's Terrova with Ipilot link. It's a pretty big investment for me so I wanted to get some feedback and hopefully get to get to test it on the water. Do any of you run a Minn Kota with Ipilot? If yes, what are your thoughts on it, pros and cons? Any insight would greatly be appreciated. thanks.

Welcome aboard, I am from the Hartford area. Check out lakeville in Salisburry - good swimbait lake and a lot of fun to fish. You can rent boats there for 35$ a day but no you have to bring your own motor. They are closed until opening day i believe.

Ouch. I use to do MMA and I have had a number of friends go through reconstructive surgery, and some of them more than once. From what I hear, it is extremely painful recovery. Make sure you follow your doctors advice, don't try to get back on the horse to soon. Take it slow and you will be back at it before you know it. Good luck with your recovery.

The 10"is that top dog for me in the tt line up, followed up by the 8". The 10" has a ton of drawing power, I have caught two fish at once on that bait. I fish them mostly in the summer months. If you haven't seen Southern Trout Eaters, you should pick up a copy, it has a lot of good information that I found really helpful when I started getting into bigger baits. my drag is always locked down, I loose hook setting power when my drag is loose. If the fish was caught by the boat and is still green, I will loosen my drag to let the fish run till the tire out.
