    Pond'n

very nice, i really gotta get some 316 hardbaits... seeing too many pics of fish being caught on them.
  2. man im jealous, im still trying to get my first opossum fish also. had one smack it the other day but missed it. great fish
  3. i just started fishing in may of 2010, and started hunting trophy fish at the beginning of this year. i remember in early spring of this year on a rather chilly morning, water temp at 60 and air temp might have been 50 if even that. i was throwing my buddies 8"hudd since i did not have one yet, tried a new knot and apparently i didnt tie it right or something. first cast the line snapped at the know and the hudd went flying and landed in about 7-8 feet of water. since it wasnt mine and i thought a hudd was expensive then, i stripped down to my undies and jumped in to try and recover it. after about 10 seconds i realized i wasnt a polar bear and that it was way too cold for me . i learned that they make em everyday for a reason, i wont ever go swimming like that for a hudd again. oh and we did eventually snag it with a spoon i think and recover the hudd.
  4. wow, kinda scary to see a shark that size that close to where people are. my wifes family has a house about an hour from myrtle, definately not going to be letting my kids get in the ocean there for a while.
  5. great looking work especially for your first time, very impressive. would definately be interested in getting one done if i could ever catch a fish worthy enough.

    Good morning

very nice fish, ive got to start fishing the rs, keep seeing alot of post of people doing great with them.
  7. i love the triple trout, when i seen my friend buy his first one i thought he was insane for spending 60+ on one bait. now i feel like an idiot for not buying one sooner. their definately worth the money and scott does such a great job with them and any problem ive had with them hes been really great about taking care of it for me. cant wait to get the 10" i just purchased from a great guy. thanks again evans
  8. idk evans, seems like your wife is pretty good. alot more easy to let you out the door than mine is lol. but i do have 3 months of going anytime i want now except for when im working. just wish i knew more about this area so i could stick some already. wish i couldve landed that fish tonight, it was probably about 4. not huge but still wouldve made me day alot better
  9. maybe its just me, but it looks bigger than 5 to me, especially compared to the slammer. very nice catch
  10. really is a nice hudd fish, i get stoked about anything that has the balls to at least attempt to eat a bait of that size. nothing like a getting bit on a swimbait to get the adrenaline pumping. ive got to start throwing the hudd at night, just so hard to throw at night, seems alot easier to throw a slammer, at least for me.
  11. yea; she wasnt full of eggs like i wish she was. but was a pretty good little fight
  12. 2 workhorses, very dependable, slightly used, low miles, and well mantained.<-- Only had both of them since march, but ive definately gotten my moneys worth already.
  13. so far my PB to date on camera, 6.5lb 23.5inch dink on 8"huddleston deluxe, p-line 30lb cxx, shimano cardiff 401, shimano crucial rod. Overslept by like an hour on the day i caught it, luckily a have a good friend (evans_usmc69) that stayed close to the ramp fishing while waiting on me. Thanks again for that! Really glad he did, broke me previous PB i set 2 weeks before at 5.51lb in a club tourney. Had one about a pound bigger earlier this year on a 8inch triple trout fishing in a canoe, but like an idiot forgot my camera, wont do that again.
