awesome shinner. I'll have to do that. bait is fine other than the crew cut tail.

It looks like there is no damage to the pins or structure so maybe just a replacement tail. I will say this though. The sound that made I felt for sure I was going to have to swim for the back half of the bait. Then it started waking back. My thumb will be scolded and relegated to throwing a slammer until the black jr comes in and/or the green jr is back in action. Fuggin rock got me but if that had have been one of my spros that ish wouldve exploded for sure. Hella tough bait. Think I just caught a bad angle on the tail and it splintered the plexi or lexan or whatever material that is. I'll be back out late Friday or Saturday night and fishing Sunday afternoon into the night. Love me some American made baits.

Read and reread all the threads, watched the awesome videos Marbles made up and went out again tonight armed with that new WakeJr. Get to the spot and there are a bunch of teenagers sitting there causing a big ruckus. I had to relocate and paid the price. Had another follower tonight. Was waking the bait down the shoreline and shad started scattering. There was a wake behind the wake and then I saw it. About 36" long and banded. Dang watersnake thought it found an easy meal. Slithered right up to me and I moved again. Next spot I see some activity right on the shore and make a cast, misjudged the distance and hear a sick sound. I wanted to die. Sounded like a car wreck. I reeled in the wake to find this: Must have been a rock I couldn't see. I fished another hour with a wounded wake and decided to call it quits. Guess I'll email the site in the morning and see if I can send it in to get a tail job. If not it may be rat mod time. Got to employ a lot of the tricks and tips. Also figured out if the light does get behind you that squatting down casts much less of a shadow and the dimming the lights in the truck a no cell phone helped a ton. No moon tonight but I could see that snake coming. Thanks for all the help guys.

yeah, I get ya Danny I debated and debated and then I started talking to Marbles again (which always leads to more fishing) and said screw it. I sold a reel to my brother and ordered one. Glad I did too. I can't fish 9 reels at once. I've been sitting in the office, holding the bait by the head and clacking it back and forth. Rain better slow up. I need to get this thing in the water.

Although you do not have same camouflage Master does, successful you can still be.... lol! gonna try for sure. first White Men Can't Jump. now White Men Can't Ninja? Nah. I'll disprove that in less than a week. yep. Calling my shot.

Stoked. If the rain will let up I'm going to see if I can get my yellow belt in night ninja fishing from the Marbles Dojo tonight by landing something.

Dammit Cam, I broke every single one of those rules last night. Makes a lot of sense though why that follower wouldn't commit. There was a safety light behind me and he came right through my shadow. Thanks for getting those vids up so quick. That was hella cool of you. I also think I've been fishing too deep. Gotta flat I need to go try. Maybe Thursday or Friday night. Storming here right now so tonight looks like a no go.

Wanted to say thanks again for getting my orders out so quick. Got a short sleeve white T this time (all my other gear is black). This one was a tagless shirt. Worked out great. I typically try to stay tagless and really like that change. Wore it last night and worked out great in the heat. Thanks again Mickey and Rina!

just got a couple more RS and then ordered two more slammers for the night bite. you know that feeling you get when 2 day shipping is just too slow? It's ridiculous I know but I wish I lived on the west coast some times just so I could get my stuff in one day or walk into a shop that sells this stuff. The local guys here have 1 Kong bait and a bunch of sebile magic swimmers in the "swimbait" section. All my goods have to come from Cali if they are retail.

video would be awesome. there is NO ONE around my area that is fishing like this. Night fishing is left to the catfish guys for the most part.

Thanks Cam. Good words right there. I broke most of those rules last night I am going to try to hammer out some more nights here soon. Do you stay with the floaters like Wakes most the time?

Havent seen any night tourneys here but I think I'll check. May hitch up the boat and go one night next week.

Usually I fish in my kayak at night all lit up like a battleship but last night I went at it ninja style. Holy frack! I didn't catch anything and only had one follow but ninja style is way new to me. First cast with one of my new top hook RS I put it in a tree, way down the bank that I can't see and is off of a steep dropoff. If it were a hard bait I might swim but at night with snakes breeding right now I ended up losing it. I said some not so nice words like Got Dandruff and Some of It Itches and walked back to the car to tie on a floater. I tried to shoot some GoPro but there wasnt enough light to get anything on camera. It was freaking dark out there. I tied on a Spro 8" Floater and went to work. Fished it for two hours and just one follow that I know of (sumbish was kicking off his own wake) but couldnt get him to commit. The whole time I swear there were some kind of shrieking Japanese howler monkeys fighting over something in the trees behind me. Screaming and squealing and tree shaking business. All kinds of noises at night you don't hear during the day. I could hear the carp sucking bugs off the top of the water. I could hear a bilge pump on a boat or some fat dude releasing fluid in the distance. All kinds of weird ish. I think I need a better spot. May try another lake next time. Crazy night, no fish and another order to be placed with Miss Rina today. fun times! Oh, and Marbles, thanks for the motivation to get out and do this. I'm going to keep trying. Kinda like the Ninja fishing thing. Mad props to you bro!

just from what I can see of her she looks gorgeous. glad you're crushing the fish right now. keeping me inspired to get after that late night bite too. May sneak out tonight. I've got some LEDs on my yak so I may go slip down a cove or two after dark and let the baits fly

I've got another Jr coming from Samurai. Cant get enough right? Also got my shipping confirm on some additional 3:16 RS. Going to be a good summer. I found some private water that I got permission to fish. Guy says nobody has fished it in years. Going to slow roll and pop that jr for a while and see what eats. Big frig population there too so the No Bull Frogs I ordered will get a workout too. Going to shoot some cast to catch too. Hoping for some vids up soon. Got a whole week without the fam next week so lots of hours in the kayak setting up a line and dropping swimbaits. Finally got my finances recovered from school and back in the game.
