  1. Hehe just add water, Proof that a little smallie will smack a large rising son, small muskie on large black RS <- I knew that black was going to produce, and another smallie on small white. I lost what looked to be a 6lb smallie on white RS, but I was sleeping and my rod smacked the trolling motor in mid hook set and I lost it at the boat oh well pretty good day so far, I"m recharging and i'm heading back out this evening.
  2. You got to Fire them up, select a bait either natural color or something wild like sissy or white they will probably hit on either natural or something bright. Don't be afraid to get aggressive with them, pike and muskie will hit a lure as fast as you can reel a lower ratio reel. I would vary retrieves and colors, and muskies and pikes like weeds no doubt.
  3. Caught a couple on the small rising son, bigger one went 5.7
  4. Like new thrown a few times wake JR in trout, only interested in 3:16 hard baits or Curado 301 or calcutta 401te or even 301te, not for sale
  5. omg yes, lol lost a Tiger last night on the 316 soft shad, no leader of course had it almost in the net and snap. Damn it was a good fish, oh well
  6. Sweet, can I get a perch trout
  7. Lol yeah that lure is a alittle undersized for that rod it would be better on mh or h,
  8. She has all jealous about the Muskie and all the Bass I had caught this week, with her new Job she wasn't able to get out with my until today. She grabbed my LDC XH with the 6' freestyle perch on and said I'm throwing this. I said stick with it and you'll get something good. Needless to say all of sudden I saw the rod bent over and her bracing, I was like oh ish thats a good one, I grabbed the net and it was putting up a good fight when It got close to the boat I was like what the heck it looks like a 2lbs smallie then I saw there was another one on the back hook. Two smallies one cast the big one weighed 4.84, didn't weigh the smaller one. I was so pumped I started yelling and screaming and high fives. The only reason she isn't smiling is the battery on the phone was dieing and wouldn't take the pic and was able to get the pic right before it died. I also caught a decent largemouth on the 316 soft shad. She said she is going bigger next time, lol I love it. She's like theres no reason I shouldn't be able to get a 7lber, lol I'm so pumped.

  12. It was a SS it was running about 8" below the surface so there was all sorts of commotion on the top of the water, I was fishing about 3' deep. the hit was just ground shaking I was trying to set the hook when it hit and it was pulling my rod towards it, I was stumbling all over the deck, the guys on shore where kinda of making fun of my Mystery bait I was throwing earlier, they weren't laughing after witnessing that, lol One guy was yelling land it land it land it, oh my god stay on, I wanna see it, land it!
  13. anyone got a 10" freestyle in perch trout? I don't know all the colors that were ever made with that bait, but I'm open. Prefer SS but would consider floater. PM me Mike
  14. Word, that's awesome, I love this site!
  15. 2nd Muskie this week on a 3:16 product! right at 37" again, about knocked my cowboy boots off lol I honestly almost fell down, Ben LDC XH handled the fish no problem, Trav that bait has some serious mojo! 2 Strikes, 1 swirl, 1 Follow up and one Catch on that baby today, its full of teeth marks and hook points, I've been fishing it hard! Woooo, Lol I'm so jacked up right now, who's got 10" freestyle in perch trout? I got to step it up, I just got my used LDC XXH
  16. Hey Trav I got that dust off your old freestyle for you.
  17. Sorry not looking for sympathy, refund or an excuse I shouldn't have put that in there that I wouldn't buy another one, I was a little upset when I wrote that. Its fine really, I just want to people to not make the same mistake I did by not upgrading hardware when needed.
  18. Sometimes people just have to learn on there own and unfortunately I was one of them, My CL8 possum Jr had tiny spilt rings on it, and small owner hooks, I fished it anyway and when it got smacked by a muskie it ripped the spilt ring and hook off the back and bent the front hook almost straight, but it wouldn't have mattered because if I would have upgraded those the hangers would have gave out you can see the one pulling out in the back it didn't take much tension from my pliers to pull either the front or the rear out. What a disappointment, I upgraded the bait but I don't think I'll be buying any more from him.

    'Bout time

Thats some good beard power right there!
  20. that was a bottom hook, I originally bought the some top hooks never have fished the RS before, but the bottom is weighted lighter and has a slow fall and stays right below the surface or at the surface if you burn it, the top hook has more weight to keep it balanced since the hook is on top and they sink faster, so they each have there time and place
