  4. Hey guys, Any recommendations for heavy glide baits in the 5-8" range? I am looking fro something that I can let sink out and burn in. Ideally a production bait that is inexpensive so I don't feel bad about loosing a few at a time.
  5. Any Rago Lil G's that are not being used that anyone is willing to offload. Thank you!
  6. Hey guys, I know this is a long shot but if somehow, some way, this works, it will a large void... Right before the water dropped at Lake Perris oh so many years ago. I lost a OG Rago Generic trout over by launch ramp one. I cast it off and my heart sank, that cast still haunts me today. The bait was given to me by a very dear friend and unique in that it has tally sharpy marks on the bottom and it sinks, as opposed to floating. Which is why when I cast it off, it sank and was never to be seen again. I spent 3 hours and lost a dozen or so different baits trying to snag it after I cast it off. I also walked the bank several dozen times as the water was dropping hoping it would resurface. All with no luck. Being that the swimbait community has grown so much since then, I have the slightest glimmer of hope that it may have crossed a fellow swimbaiter's hands and might return home. The bait holds a strong sentimental value to me as it was given in confidence from a dear friend, as I mentioned. If ANYBODY has crossed paths with this bait, I will make sure there is a reward that will be worth mentioning the baits existence and return. As always, thanks in advance and tight lines!!!
  7. Anybody have a bullshad herring the are not using?
  8. $25 for the duck? Thank you!

  9. Been messing with it for years. West Coast browns are incredibly smart and seem to like small baits/line/hardware. I have been lucky enough to make friends with some of the leading brown guys in the Sierras/NorCal, who have all the right tools and experience, and whether trolling or shore pounding highly customized small thin stick baits are the name of the game. Hence why Allen Cole's brown baits are small and thin. Sure you will randomly get bit on other larger profile baits but your probability for larger numbers of larger fish is scaling down. Can't tell your how many hours I have spent experimenting with friends on the same day/spot. With the right presentation/timing the smaller low profile baits get the bigger fish. Trophy Brown guys are sharper than Trophy Bass guys in a lot of ways which is why guys like JR and AC can transition to trophy largemouth/striper/musky and slay. Now, the next riddle is what stickbaits work best, with what retrieve, what customization's, on what day, what structure, what time will elicit bites from these witty browns. Because a lucky craft vs diawa vs rapala might as well be jig vs plopper vs crank bait
  10. Excellent blanks and great company. I have had rogue swimbait rods since they first made them 17 years ago or so. If you get some let me know please: )
  11. As the title says, looking for rago rats, 6" raptors and 7-8inch triple trouts in ANY condition. Also, any small(5-8inch) hard baits that you may not use or that are beat up I will look at. Thanks in advance!
  12. Has anybody swam/fished these? Is there a noticeable difference in the action from a standard vertical joint? Thanks in advance!
