Hey guys,
I know this is a long shot but if somehow, some way, this works, it will a large void...
Right before the water dropped at Lake Perris oh so many years ago. I lost a OG Rago Generic trout over by launch ramp one. I cast it off and my heart sank, that cast still haunts me today. The bait was given to me by a very dear friend and unique in that it has tally sharpy marks on the bottom and it sinks, as opposed to floating. Which is why when I cast it off, it sank and was never to be seen again. I spent 3 hours and lost a dozen or so different baits trying to snag it after I cast it off. I also walked the bank several dozen times as the water was dropping hoping it would resurface. All with no luck.
Being that the swimbait community has grown so much since then, I have the slightest glimmer of hope that it may have crossed a fellow swimbaiter's hands and might return home. The bait holds a strong sentimental value to me as it was given in confidence from a dear friend, as I mentioned. If ANYBODY has crossed paths with this bait, I will make sure there is a reward that will be worth mentioning the baits existence and return.
As always, thanks in advance and tight lines!!!
