  1. Well, it makes you question everything. This makes him look very, very bad. People cheat when ego, money and notoriety are on the line(no pun) Kinda sucks.
  2. I take paypal Rod will be shipped in a pvc tube. Conus only. I might ship to Canada if buyer pays actual shipping. Rated at 1oz to 4oz, moderate fast taper. 17" handle. Rod is perfect I'd sell it for 125.00 or I would like to swap it for a 7ft or 7ft+ M or MH casting rod from Dobyns, Major Craft, Megabass, Phoenix. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/iROD_Genesis_II_Series_Casting_Rods/descpage-IRGCT.html
  3. This has been in my rod rack for over a year. I fished it one time last spring. Rod is in excellent shape. I noticed before posting this the tip was loose so I used Fuji hot melt tip glue to correct that. Not sure what it is worth but I know with a pvc tube, shipping will be about 35.00 I would consider a trade for a 6-9 MH casting rod from Dobyns or comparable.
  4. This reel is just about perfect. It is a 9.5 out of 10 cosmetically with a small chip in the top front. (you can see that in the 4th photo on the left side of the reel in line with the "3" of the 301.) It has Boca Orange seal upgraded bearings, upgraded drag and has sat in my rod rack for the past year. I need a new trailer for my boat so I have to make a sacrifice or two. This is a lefty reel. I saw a 300E go for about 249.00 recently........first 220.00 takes this one. No trades. Comes with original box, oil, wrench, washers and whatever it is supposed to have from the factory.
  5. I saw a group of 8 used ones on ebay, asking price was 720.00 Wup da F*ck?
  6. I've Bo Jackson'ed a rod or two over my knee.
  7. I have: Mattlures Baby Hard gill in tilapia fast sink- perfect shape Got 'em Coach 7" Gillz crappie- perfect shape BD 6" Green Shad- good shape looking to trade all 3 in a lot for: 3:16 hardbait- Baby Wake maybe or some decent soft baits like 5-6-7" Rising Sons Real Prey Smash Tech etc. or a lefty 201 series Shimano casting reel.
  8. It might have something to do with not wanting to negotiate in the public view. If a seller agrees to sell a bait at a lesser price than the asking price, and that guy backs out........if everyone can see what is going on, the next person simply offers him that price or talks him down from that. The seller loses any leverage. I prefer pm anyway, it is nobody's business but the buyer and seller. It is the right of the individual to ask whatever they want for their bait. Pay it or move on. Um, baits for hugs??
  9. F***********************************************************************************CK!!!!! I hate you guys in the face! Sold out.
  10. I figured it out. I looked at the rating on my IRod Genesis II and Airus light swimbait rod and both can cover them easily. I also picked up a Lew's 7-6 MH Speed Stick Mach 2 that can handle 1.5oz for smaller stuff from TW on sale for 65.00.
  11. I broke a hard tail on one of my baits. I got some soft clay and pressed the tail into the clay and made an impression. Then I mixed some RP40 resin and filled the mold. The tail was crude but once painted, I didn't notice and it is pretty durable provided you don't cast it into the rocks.
  12. I'm putting together a rig exclusively for fishing 5 and 6 inch Bullshad type baits. I am curious as to what rods some of you guys use and why. I am looking into a 7-6 casting rod, MH with a slightly soft tip, not unlike a crankbait rod, but it has to be able to handle 2oz baits. What are you guys using? Any and all advice and experience is appreciated.
  13. Nothing special. I am just using eye screws and I eyeball the hole for the pin. I drill out the holes on the receiving end of the eye screw loop and then use my dremel to expand the opening but not the depth of the hole and that is key to maintaining free movement and flexibility of the sections. If I get some time this week I'll put up a step by step showing you what I mean. Its really nothing extravagant.
  14. So I will begin with this.....I am not really artistically talented and I know it. I do have a knack for making things swim correctly and moding existing things but I've never built a swimbait from the ground up. I was kind of skeptical putting this bait here because I really think it looks like a Bull shad and I carved the master. I made 2 mock ups before I made a mold and both simply looked like every other shad swimbait out there but, I think it works for me. I wanted something that wasn't too heavy that i could throw comfortably like a crankbait and not a depth charger. I think I might work on a mini gill next. Here are the stats on this bait: 6" from line tie to the tip of the tail so 5" bait+1" of tail 1.34 oz. slow sink Owner size 2 hooks paint is rattle can base and copic marker air brush details 1/4" 3D eyes paint brush tail devcon epoxy coat I swam both in my pool, They swim great. I did an ayu and an aurora black. Be kind to me please.
  15. that is really cool, and absolutely you nailed the eyes.
