The Baby Hardgill(figured just add to this thread even though its about the actual hardgill) is hands down my favorite swimbait i have used so far, i have caught 3/4 of my swimbait fish on it. I have The Floater in Female Gill. I throw it on a normal set-up, calcutta 250-b, and a xps tournament rod. With 40lb braid. Pro's: The bait is very small, but still gets the big bites. Doesnt go crazy when you cast it, never spins or flips. Doesnt break that easily. Con's: Paint takes awhile to wear down but when it does the paint just keep peeling off from that spot, and soon the paint is gone from most of the segments of the body of the bait. Hooks arnt the strongest. I have videos with some nice fish on this bait, including my PB that was a little under 8lb(that video is in Got'em.) But im in school right now So no access to youtube. Overall its a great waking bait that gets some good top water explotions and fish

I got a homemade 68 from GrantG a few months ago, never really threw it, but did this weekend at a lake where the fish are scarce but bigger, liked the action of it, and caught a decent two pounder

So went fishing this weekend, used my new 5 in TT and first hook up and miss te bait comes back tailess, anyone know where i can buy tails for them? Or if any has some unused ones.and Also ive been fishing my hardgill almost every outing, and been catching alot of nice fish, but the paint is almost completly gone and was wondering if they can be re painted, would be willing to pay, the tail came off of it too but i made a nice make shift tail.

Roman Made does not have a small bluegill. You're talking about Mattlures. I know?

nothing compares to the baby hard gill, trust me. Ive personally caught mya 8lb and multiple 5 lb on it
