An I understand there lookin for beds n bass hittin trout. But dfg stocks all over the lake not jus marina an thats not the only place were they bed. Im jus sayin why fish the most pressured fish on the lake if somebodys in a boat. Dv is HUGE.......

Ok I fish dvl bout 3 to 4 times a week an have been catchin my share of nice swimbait bass. Lately with the spawn thing goin on I have noticed every boat is floatin 10' off shore. Granted if I see a bed I might fish it but theres only 1.5 miles of shore line to fish from your feet an like 20 or more miles were you cant fish from shore. So why in the f##k are these stupid boaters fishing the shore were you can fish from shore . Why in the f##k would you fish the most pressured bass on the lake if you have a boat. An the retards that drive all the way into the coves with there motors blazin n doin donuts to turn around. Imho if I had a boat I sure wouldnt concentrate on the measly 1.5 miles of shore every tom dick n henery are fishin. Im sure theres a million other great places you can fish thats not heavily pressured like the lil shore line I get. I have even had re res roll right on top of my lure n ask if im fishin there wtf......... If your in boat plz use common sense an fish the other 20+ miles of other shore n keep our 1.5 miles off limits. Jus my .02

Jus go to dvl!!! Its alot closer to were you are an me n fisher have had some really good luck lately. Theres a couple guides out there like Art Berry n Rusty Brown.

She floats awesome!!! I took 2.5 grams of lead outta the belly an added 1.5 grams of hooks an rings so shes still a gram under weight gunna go try out at dv tomorrow with fisher...... On the dd hunt again thanks for the info guys !!! So now im kinda thinking of trying to make a hudd suspend by doin this!

Not a big fan of belly hooks when dead stickin. An have had really good luck with rigging the 10" floatin platinum bb way. I agree that they hit from under neath but all strikes ive seen have hit head first even with the big 10". The platinums take some work to float right too but thought this would be more durable. I guess im jus gunna shave some led well c how it goes thanks guys for the info ill let you guys know how it goes......

Ok so I jus picked up a hudd 0 an wanna bb rig it. What size hook n rings should I use so it doesnt sink?? I was gunna use size one an to split rings but thinkin might be to heavy. Any info would help

Imho there pretty good baits.... I have seen the 9" catch fish an have heard good things dead stickin the 12". Im gettin my 12" floater here soon n let u know how it goes. Probly gunna cut the bill off an bbz a frog hook on top with surgical tubing.

Dam that platinum......... I hate bein stubborn, all I got was a blow up first thing on the cl8 in the mornin then followers for the rest of the day. I need to start throwin the 10" again n get some fish that bait is a toad magnet....... Wtg fisher that bass was awesome allmost lost her in a tree but skill prevailed

Lol you gotta figure that lake has seen just about ever lure an about every retrieve. Like maxwell said dead stickin.... O man have caught an seen some big bass caught out thetre doin that tech. 10" floating trout works best I found but im am no expert by any means.

I pretty much jus drag on shore or try a quick thumb job I need to look into a net tho the last fish I caught shook so bad on shore she allmost smashed my lure on the rocks planin on hittin dv today for the after noon bite......
