What happen 2 my post '' what do you consider a catch'' i can't find it anywhere i was just able to get back on and it's no where to be found. I don't know if somebody got in an argument it or something but at least i could of got a PM of why it was deleted or something.

Looks like somebody took a $1 can of grey spray paint and painted them. Body does look good but paint job blows.

No hijack here i got what i wanted. But i had a guy 1 time tell me the best way 2 get paint off is 2 leave it and just sand it a little just 2 scruff up the paint so the new stays on good (something for it 2 grab on 2), I have tried all kinds of remover to strip the original paint off and every attempt i screwed it up.

Ive heard that also, ill have to find somebody with some 2 try in case i dont like it and i aint out $

I have never repainted a bait that has been ''repainted'' so whats the best way 2 do that, if i sand it lightly repaint it, seal/it, when i reseal the paint in expoxy, does it kill the bait having so much expoxy on it having been expoxyed 2 times? or whats the best way 2 do that? What is everybody using for clear coat now days , i have only used devacon but if there is something better i would like 2 try it. Thanks for any help.

These aint my words but i agree with them. If the media would quit making these tards celebrities this crap wouldnt happen as much. But this is sad, my thoughts and prayers for the family's.

Until coming here i never knew to boil baits, i have boiled some cheap baits after reading boil them but was afraid to do it on some that cost, but after reading this thread i went and boiled me a hudd, it did seam to make if softer. tried to stretch it but it didnt get any longer. But when i boiled mine i made the hudd tail swim when boiling it besides just letting it hang in 1 spot and yes i left the hook out of the water when swimming it. But swimming it seemed to loosen the tail more than just hanging it.

dang that had 2 stink, but i know the feeling the first fish i even got hooked up with on a soft swimbait only made it about 5ft after hook up and she gets hung up in a submerged tree.

Has anybody took a jointed swimbait and painted the joints red for effect? I know guys do it all the time on crankbaits for gills but i have never seen anyone paint the joints of a swimbait, If you have how did it work out or should i leave the joints the color they are. Not talking about PAINT paint but like fingernail polish. I got a bream that's got white joints and thought it would kinda help if they were red. Thanks

The spiral wrap reduces line wiffle for longer casting. It also helps when fighting an fish, the rod is not trying to turn over in your hand with a strong fish. I'm sure it has other magical powers I'm unaware of. good deal thanks

Good deal but can i ask a question does the rotated eyes help better or something like more sensitivity like on a spinning reel or something?

I know a guy who fishes holt with swimbaits but definitely dont want to give any ideas there 2 anybody, the whole saying comes in 2 play there ''there goes the fishing'' haha i just stay on the bankhead side.

As stated above i also just use the hook just under the gill, Have not harmed 1 so far doing it.
