  1. Ive only caught two hudd fish so far and both bites were completely different. The first bite all I felt was a little tick so I swung and the fish was there, with the bait choked, had the entire tail swallowed by the time I got the fish in. The second fish almost ripped the rod from my hands. Ive had 5 or 6 other bites on the hudd and they have all been very light taps. The RS on the other hand, every bite ive ever gotten on one, the fish absolutely slam it. I like the slam MUCH better than the tap.
  2. Yes. I got an email with a tracking number, but it hasn't been updated yet. What did you order?

    kilog

Great guy to trade with. Great communication and fast shipping. Bait was as described and pictured. Would not hesitate to trade with in the future. Thanks, Jason. Reed
  4. This is Betsy, shes an 03', my brother and I bought her back in 06'. She is a tank and has treated me well over the years. I once fished in her for 6 hours without the plug in she floated and ran just the same the whole time, I sure felt like an idiot when I pulled her out of the water
  5. Damn nice deer JT. Ive been wanting to get into bow hunting for a while just havent pulled the trigger. Takes some skill to do it with the long bow. Congrats!
  6. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL
  7. Finally got around to pulling out all the baits. Didnt realize I had as many baits as I did Oh well! Still trying to piece it all together but, Im getting there.
  8. Thanks guys! Im defenantly addicted to the hudd now and will always have one tied on! Can't wait to get out on a lake and throw them instead of just local ponds. Can't stop thinking about applications and places to throw them/what I can do to improve.
  9. Great video and great song. The BB gig at the beginning had me
  10. Thats badace, had to skip through the two minute descent though defiantly made me a little dizzy
  11. Got my first bite on an 8" ROF5 a couple weeks ago but missed. Went back a week later, after buying a couple 68's, and caught this guy on a 68 ROF5. Im addicted now. Stocking up on several more 68's and more 8"ers. I went out yesterday to throw this same bait and launched it into a pine tree about 20' up tried to finesse it out for about 5 minutes and realized I was going to have to snap my line. Luckily when the line snapped the bait fell in the water!! So I hide my gear, climb in the water and swim across the pond to where my bait went fell in, scrounge around the bottom with my feet for about ten minutes until I somehow find it Swam back across the pond, tied the bait back on, and returned to fishing

    kjs

I recently bought a couple of baits from kjs and was very pleased with the transaction. Excellent communication, shipped the day before he said he would and sent the tracking number immediately. Would gladly do business with him again. Thanks.
  13. I used the hudd bond on mine and another time used the 3:16 glue. It work well enough to continue fishing with it but, after another bite the things completely roached. The whole hook harness completely came out of the body. They do get bit though.
  14. I had the same experience with mine. Caught one and fish repaired it, got a short strike on the next trip and the whole hook harness came out of the rubber body. Catches fish though.
  15. Nice fish Dave! How you liking that Calcutta D?
  16. I have a reoccurring right shoulder problem. I originally hurt it three years in college playing dodge ball lol (not so funny now). I was trying to throw those light ass balls way harder than I should have on minimal warm up. After the tournament I couldnt throw anything let alone barely lift my hand straight above my head for almost a year, my arm was almost numb. After nursing it and slowing rehabbing it back to health it went away for two years with no problems. Until earlier this year, I had to help pick up a 300 pound lead lined door frame and somehow screwed it up again. The pain had pretty much gone away from the last incident until I went bowling last weekend (bad idea). The pain comes and goes but it isn't overly limiting. Ive gone to my GP who told me it was most likely some sort of tissues tear and that I need to go have it MRIed, I just haven't had the time to take off work to go and get it done. Hopefully when I do its nothing too serious.
  17. Man I hate you for posting this. I graduated last year and miss college SO much. There's some great advise on here. One thing, don't be afraid to break out of your shell and try new thing. I didn't break out until half way through my Jr. year (mostly because I had a crazy !@#$ girlfriend in another town) and missed out on A LOT of good times with good people. Have a blast man, good luck!
  18. Got mine in the mail today, havent had a chance to play with it yet but it looks sweeeet! I bought it off EBay for 165 on Monday and it arrived today. I was surprised. Thanks, Marbles, for that extra push of encouraging words to buy this reel. Cant wait
  19. Congrats man, I LOVE that clear lake hitch RS!
  20. 65lb PP is what i use. When I fished conventional I had a reel spooled with the stuff for over a year and it still held up great. I change it out more frequently now though. It will eventually fade in color but it takes a while. Im thinking of going up in weight after reading some of these posts. I cant stand getting a backlash and having to dig it out with a pair of tweezers
