So I now can drive through and control Triton Chine Walk.

BBZ Shad. Anyone catching on it?

Caught 2 dinks on it -
Going to clear water and the south end of Grand Lake this weekend. I haven’t fished a swimbait other than a Mikey all year long. Guess I’ll give it a try a see what happens. I’ll be fishing docks and docks and even more docks. Any tips on swimbaits and docks?

I'm heading to Grand Lake O' The Cherokees for the weekend. I'll be down in some clear water, might actually throw a swimbait which I haven't done all year. Order myself a Ram Mount for my HDS unit. Trying to get my boat set up the way I like it.

Finally have been taking my Triton out. I experienced the Triton chine was Saturday. Started at about 5000-5500 RPM's. So Sunday went back out made a few minor adjustments. First I eased the trim up, bumping it up a little at a time. No more chine walk.

As a resident of OKC Sounds like a great idea! -
I still haven't taken her out yet. I haven't had anytime.

Lew's has a huge line capacity for low profile reels
-
I've been using a regular Lew's Speed Spool throwing swimbaits, a-rigs and have no problem. The Super Duty will work great.

Cheapie H2O swimbait

Yes sir we love the dirty water here in Oklahoma

I just got one the other day tested it out after we got a warm rain. I got a dink on it in about 5 minutes of fishing. The action is good dives about a foot on a fast retrieve. Sits up on top and does a really good wake on a slow retrieve. Just wondering if anyone else has tried one yet?

Thanks man for the advice. Top end it should run 65-68 mph. Right now I'm more concerned about learning to drive it safely and not destroying it or myself. The motors an '07 I believe it is still under waranty. Only problem is mechanics who fix ETEC's are few and far between here. The hull and everything is good it has been garage kept since day one. The hours on the motor should be low too. My dad never went fishing just to go fishing it was always tournament fishing. So the boat would go out about 6-10 times a year, so the hours should be good.

Do any of y'all fish swimbaits in stained lakes?
djpeterbilt replied to Mason's topic in The Underground
I've had luck in our stained waters here in Oklahoma I've had luck with Jackall Mikeys. This was in late July to late October.
