I've had pretty good experiences with mine. The one I used definitely sank faster than the rising sons, but that isn't a big deal for me. I think their top hook tournament talon is my favorite osprey, though. -
But what if that's what he is into? Then you'd just be doing him a favor. -

Again, friendly reminder: even if you know the person, it's always best to use PayPal goods and Services. Both sides are protected from loss this way. I made that mistake a few years back and won't buy anything without using goods and services.

Debating on getting one for my Hudd/big jig hook rod. Are these still worth it? I'm between that and sticking with the Low-pro reels (so probably the new tranx or Toro beast 50). Thanks!

+1 I don't get to fish LOZ that often, but during the time when everyone else is throwing jerkbaits, I've had some luck with swimbaits. Hudds and rising sons are excellent. I also fished a glide bait behind a buddy throwing a jerkbait. I didn't get many bites, but I caught the 2 biggest fish of the trip (this was 2 years ago now). Good luck!
