From what I remember softer plastic and the foams always used to break near the nose, they got bit well. Newer hudds I boil them to achieve the og style softness of the plastic

I’ve seen schools of baby carp 8-12” only twice at two different lakes within 10 years. both times they were balled up together like trout and once seen a giant bass underneath the school and had dozens of followers in the area I had a Deps 250 flash carp and caught a nice one immediately gliding through the school. both times I’ve ever seen it happen was the most epic deps & real prey carp bites I’ve had because it really matched the hatch and there was actually a Carp bite going on
